The visual and the music makes me think of what it must feel like when you're elderly and your spouse, your best friend, has recently died. Just watching the rain, the static on the television is about as entertaining as anything else you could watch on it now that you don't have that special person to share it with. Shoutout to all the elderly folks living alone, they are often forgotten members of society and it must be so tough to want to carry on each day. I bet they have wonderful stories to tell.
Through my work I am tasked with visiting the homes of disabled people. They often look like this. I'm drawn to it because I am a person full of hope who wants to give that hope to others. It's rarely as simple as handing it over to someone, as I'm sure you know. But one of the most joyful things I've ever experienced is the trust in someone's eyes when they realize you will be coming by at the same time next Thursday. Suddenly there is ground again, and the air isn't all static.
a gloomy, but curiously relaxing feeling after see there isn't any noise of cars or people in the outside, but fog is covering the city, but more than feel fear, feel satisfaction, even a calm sensation, a freshing or cooling air hitting your face, wathing the gray sky, almost feeling like you flying.
This is exactly my life right now. Almost 60 years old, single, and packing to move into a tiny one bedroom apartment because I can no longer afford my 2 bedroom by myself after my roommate left me hanging with zero notice. At this point, I'm just numb, and none of this feels real. No family or friends. I am utterly alone in this merciless world. Begs the question, why go on?...🥺
I picture myself stumbling upon this building as I roam through the woods looking to just find myself away from the entire world... and there it is... fixated on the fire emitting from what looks to be an alien space engine.... I have heat, water for fishing... and I am sure I can make a comfy rack to spend the rest of my days here listening to the music all day and night. *PARADISE*
been waiting for this one. i know silent hill is the vibes, but hear me out. Reminds me of the cozy abandoned homes in the last of us part 2 with the overgrown plant life. I just know i’d have the best nap of my life. I live for this kind of ambiance
I'm thinking about a youngwoman I loved the most, three years ago. I tried to talk to her multiple times but she was always too shy and always walked away from me, so I said to myself I'll never bother her again. four months later, I saw her on the other side of the street , I notice she was trying to cross the street coming my direction, I said I was gonna walk away myself first, out of respect, I didn't want to bother or embarrass her again, I walked away and then looked back and saw her had stopped and was staring at me, then she turned back and walked the other direction.. she didn't cross the street, I realized she was walking towards me.. she was coming to me... She got married last year and I sill can't stop thinking about her. we could have been together right now... 😞I hope one day I could forgive myself.
The immediate aftermath of Apocalypse from a relatively remote locale: Power still on (for now), but TV station off the air. The foreboding uncertainty of a recently and irreversibly changed world.
I've been stuck on this video for the past week. I have a history with housing instability. I don't know a single queer person who isn't one disaster away from homelessness. And now with homelessness being a crime... All I really want is four walls that can't be taken away from me. A place all my own, on my own, to rest and recharge. I could tackle just about any challenge life throws at me if I had that. Even if the space was no bigger than the art above, it would be everything to me. I keep looking at this image and imagining how it would feel to be securely housed. Its sad... but so many of us are struggling in this way. Even having a salaried job does not guarantee stability... maybe one day this world will be a kinder place. Until then, I will continue to escape into the safe recesses of my imagination soothe my weary soul.

Special thanks for the CRT TV, the most mystical and cozy TV ever made)
This one is going on repeat. Edit: Thank you for using my title suggestion!
So glad this popped up in my feed. It has that Silent Hill feel to it. It looks haunted, yet it feels serene 😊❤

This is really phenomenal stuff. You've really captured the feel and ethos of Silent Hill without mimicking what Akira Yamaoka did. Kudos.
Thanks a lot! I highly appreciate that ^^
I have so many of your songs saved in my main music playlist, I love all the music you make. Thank you so much for posting your atmospheres :)
I highly appreciate that! Thank you 🖤
Another great job Midwich, keep it up

I love the textures in this one! How did you make the TV noise btw? After Effects, I suppose?
Right, I made the TV static and the rain outside in After Effects ^^

Very cool ! Loving it, the atmosphere .
Quite relaxing. Love the aesthetics.
This is beautiful. It reminds me of a scene in one of my favorite games, The Evil Within 2. This is great writing music, too.

No sorry, you can't.
After The Fall, when we are all scattered to the wind, where will we call home in the end?
The world already fell. There is no home. Not anymore.
silent hill
