Oh this is a good one and has not been detected in the past

I turned on my metal detector and immediately started finding stuff.
I hiked out to this old cellar hole in the woods and had to do very little searching or exploring to find it. A lot of these old deserted New England colonial sites have been metal detected before. This ones location has changed with the landscape history and the old cart path wagon trail had been flooded out , but I found my way around. I turned on my Fisher F19 and instantly dug up an old clothing button and then another. Im not sure how long this old overgrown place has been deserted but I would thing close to a couple hundred years. Looks like the relics I am finding are at the least early 1800s. I was surprised to find two thimbles as well today along with a big old copper coin. Nice finding a cellar hole that has not been metal detected.

Hey Charlie At your very first dig with the button, did you see the bright red circle in the leaves to your right? I thought I may have been some kind of berry but from my view it almost looked metallic. You can see it around the 2:31 mark on your video. Curious as to what it was if you saw it.
