I remember Herbie Hancock from listening to "KBCA" in Los Angeles in the 1960s. Maiden Voyage. Wayne Shorter. Sounds like a relaxing Saturday afternoon with beer and Mexican (or homegrown) herb. Was John Coltrane still making records?
damn, wayne shorter turned obstacles into allies on the daily and defeated the negative functions in his life to no end…. and the preacher is scared that Wayne’s buddhist faith is an attack on God and has to come here to preach. All I can say: no wonder christianity invites refutation.

I was little concerned w/o the bass and drums to keep time but that's why they are masters. Wayne will be sincerely missed. Be fearless.
