    Nothing against this podcast. But builders are finding more ways to squeeze in more infill units such as dividing the 'typical' 50x110 lot into quarters, so you'll have 4 units instead of the duplex from the past.
    Also there are stacked units where units are on top of one another, therefore the upper unit will be on the second and third level, and the ground unit will occupy the below ground level.
    In that case each unit may only get a single car garage instead of double garage of a duplex.
    As Calgary is having such a population boom after the pandemic, inner city communities may soon have to pay for parking in front of their homes!!!!

      It all comes down to the zoning and what is allowed. The city has started over the last couple years to allow more units on a single lot depending on the lots location, this more density.
