I know these ranked videos are your personal choices but honestly, they are very agreeable choices. They make sense as to why they are ranked high and you make logical points when ranking them. Amagarsaurus armor spikes also lower the targets saddle armor the longer it stands in it. Capped saddles can get lowered to prim or near prim if I remember right. Very strong Dino to place with your velos on turret mode
Love your videos mate. Cave loot runs have become such a breeze thanks to the Desmodus landing tips in an earlier video. I didn't know about the Mammoth buffs at all! I'm keen to experiment with different dino teams in the boss fights. Do you think well bred pair of Mammoths would be good to add to a squad? Always good to have some vegetarian creatures in that Dragon fight!

Mammoths are great, there is some speculation as to whether or not their debuff ability works on bosses, I feel like it can work on some but not all, most of them don't seem to be affected by it after testing a few out in Single Player! Nonetheless!! I have used 2 mate boosted Mammoths in the Dragon boss fight before, filling them up with Sweet Veggie Cakes and sending them in first, they are great for sitting infront of the Dragon and tanking its attacks while attacking it from behind with high damage creatures like Theri's, Rexes or whatever you're going in with! I actually do have a video uploaded where I took a whole Mammoth squad in and beat the Dragon on Alpha difficulty haha, they were heavily mutated though! I would never try that otherwise :D
Bonus info on bleed. Feeding wyvern milk to yourself or Dino’s gives a buff that stops bleed from being applied. Also cleans swamp aids but most know that already. Although this seems kinda pointless it is a lot easier to get milk now with netguns and fenir boss drops a fenir mount that doubles or triples milk decay timer I forget how much

I had NO idea I could do that, and I'm playing Ab for the first time with 7 raptors behind me. I'm definitely trying this on the next dino I see! Thanks for the vid :D

The insect buff on the megatherium is the most slept on buff in the game. on 1x, if capped megatheriums existed, they would beat every other dino in the game in raw dps slug fight, even capped, fully imprinted, mate boost, yuti buffed gigas. sadly, none exist.
Problem with the Carchas buff is that it’s speed is increases and mine are all 100 imprinted so it DOES NOT need anymore speed, especially when it flies over a hill and takes fall damage
i think dinopithecus give insulation when on them, i’ve been running around the snow mountains and volcanos to check things out with cloth armor, and I was wondering why i wasn’t dying another reason to love dinopithecus
@@garynoopl7455 nah, because when i got off i started freezing to death i explored the WHOLE snow biome on marge chimpson, and went into the magmasaur caves too, and was only ever mildly too cool/warm
@@garynoopl7455 i just checked, my lvl 227 gives 225 hypothermal AND hyperthermal insulation (took all my clothes off to zero out my insulation beforehand) i also checked one of my other lower levels to see if level or the melee stat affected it, and it seems not my lvl88 also gives 225 insulation works only when riding it, does not do aoe insulation

Stegos can impale full hp targets. Idk if it’s intended but the wiki is wrong. I was hitting this rat/mesh hole on gen2 and this guy jus kept whistling aggressive stegos and holy hell is it op. Specially if u add stam to them because netting it won’t stop the impale 😂 and yes you can do it manually as well. I thought the wiki said it had to b on sharpened mode as well but I could be wrong been a long while since I checked
That's interesting! Tbh I tried it on a private server with pvp enabled, I couldn't impale any target that was max hp or any wild creature that wasn't damaged, 🤷who knows, I did try it out on all modes though, can do it with each plate mode with the same effect from what I saw!

How can you not mention the beating of the drums completely stops dismounting 😂 even for the drummer. Absolutely required for online raids even more so now with bats flying in caves being able to pick u and let’s not forget net guns…
I don't play PVP so wouldn't know too much about the dismounting part or immunity to the net gun, thanks for letting me know! It does sound like that would make them twice as good!
I use to PVE pre cryo pod days so I get it. Man did it suck feeding every Dino u owned constantly 😂 It was hard to learn the game when your beach bobbing it as a new player on PvP . I now have 12k hours, whole tribe is 195+Thors and play with some of the best tribes on ps smalls, well did 😅. But yeah they are very overlooked. They can also grab players/small tames as well and throw em. Ppl obviously try to snipe them but because they are herbivores with decent hp all u gotta do is put cakes on em and they r near invincible. It’s really fun sandbox game trying to over come obstacles in PvP with all these weird niche dinos. Btw the charchar speed buff is really op combined with the shadowmane speed buff. We use it for rocket running/grapple glitching deathwalls it’s pretty insane combined. And you can’t b knocked out with shadowmane buff. U can actually soak full on tek bases in the water with shadowmanes. They swim faster then teks can shoot it so only heavies shoot u and you jus put them to sleep when they get low and within 15-20 sec they r half hp again. Use to soak fishbowls for free with em since most teks r capped and heavies rarely have much. U can rocket once the heavies emptied

I enjoy the vid but I gotta admit I’m kind of confused why this is being put out now when the game is closing in under a month…? Yes ASA is coming out right after but with it being a whole new engine and supposedly all sorts of new things who knees how much of the old stuff will still be implemented.

If I don't remember, the megalocero can give bleed effect too, and the dinopithecus can give a bleed effect of 20% like the fire of the alpha dragon.

How do I use the roar with dhadow?
It should be holding X on PC or holding the right analogue stick in on controller! They have to be mate boosted to be able to use it!
Shame that the rock drake didnt get any special treatment let alone its gliding ability
