Omeo Up Mt. Telemark (4K Version)

Mt. Telemark is a decrepit alpine ski hill near Cable, Wisconsin. It opened December 13, 1947. It was the first Midwest ski hill opened after World War II. The ski hill closed in 1998.
I had tried to climb the hill on my Omeo a few days earlier by following part of the old "Short & Fat" route that was used during the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival many years ago. That route proved too steep and rocky to attempt. Since the new Quinn Observation Tower was brought to the top of the hill on a big truck and assembled there, I knew there had to be an easier route. I found it!
The new Quinn Observation Tower roofing and stairs were repurposed from old lift towers. The base of each level is a circular bull wheel from the downhill ski lifts and the main supports were former lift towers, and the guard rails are old cable from the ski lifts. How cool is that?!
The lookout tower was later named Kawabaming to honor the Ojibwe tribe who called Telemark Mountain, “KAWABAMING”, meaning “a place to look out from”. The Ojibwe tribe is native to this land and therefore shall be recognized as an important part of the history.
The Kawabaming Observation Tower in Mt. Telemark Village opened to the public in July 2023 and was made possible by the generosity of the Quinn family.

Thanks to a UA-cam video, I discovered how to run iMovie from an external hard drive! My old 2015 MacBook Pro didn't have enough room to create a 4K Hi Resolution movie file, but I can using a 5 TB hard drive! (I am nearly completely computer illiterate)
Now I might not feel the need for a new computer dedicated to video making. But, I will need to watch the video on my TV to get the full 4k experience as my 2015 MacBook Pro display is only capable of 2560 x 1600 and 4K is 3840 × 2160. Unless I get an external 4k screen.

If I am not mistaken, the route I take is a trail called Cadillac Road. Named because Tony Wise would sometimes drive his Cadillac to the top of Mt. Telemark using this route. It may also be a XC ski trail in the winter.
