To be pedantic, this house is not in the Royal National Park, it's directly next to its boundary. The Maianbar & Bundeena suburbs are the only locations inside the Royal National Park. Gorgeous house, it stands out when passing on the roadway.
This home is simply beautiful, in the truest sense. It's not trying to overstate any one thing, or be something it's not. It's simple, true, beauty, like being under a warm blanket when it's raining outside.

I have had a recurring dream about a house on a cliff overlooking the ocean. When I saw the thumbnail for this, I knew it was the house. How did this dream become a reality on the opposite side of the globe?
This is one of the top 5 houses I've ever seen. Such beautiful attention to detail and textures. The neutral palette here is just perfect in how it works together to create a calm environment as opposed to being boring and monotonous.
The interior design is amazing and is deserving of a longer video, but the exterior rocks only received a brief mention.. Sad that no one will be climbing around those monoliths.
We perhaps have seen examples of homes that have been around for hundreds of years. It seems this home and many others you have featured could last thousands of years.
i used to live in this house. i left a secret there for someone to perhaps find at some point. if it is found it will make the finder the most powerful person in the world. but i warn you, only someone pure of heart will be able to approach it and live.
No doubt that this home and location are spectacular. The materials and furniture are well-curated. But I was hoping that the architecture fit the location in a more organic way. Not just a box on top of those beautiful boulders. Incorporating the boulders within the interior, blurring the vision of inside and out.
Mate ! That is a F…… nice house. It’s pretty much how I would have built and designed it (as a builder myself). Good execution ! I’d be walking around naked mate looking at the ocean, what more do you want ?!
So these guys just don't bother with curtains huh. Interesting choice. Not for privacy obviously, but surely having light just pouring in at all hours isn't ideal.
I have to respectfully disagree: the lack of curtains keeps the clean lines, and any plants they have will certainly appreciate the light when it’s available.
I really feel the interior has a big flaw, just look at the exterior, and compare now the dull color palet of the interior. Outside has a perfect convination of hearth, stones and greens colors while inside is all monochromatic. from floor to ceiling. Keeping the nature out of the site, only for the exterior.
