Correct. There are some 38 beaches on the island, but most are in secluded coves. Two (Mambo and Jan Thiel) have a beach scene with live music, DJs, shops and good bars and restaurants.
I have a home in Curacao. I also live in the US, (Florida). There is a lot to do on the island as it's a busy place downtown. Sometimes one doesn't even feel like you are living on an island. The ABC islands are only about 40 miles north of Venz.
Beautiful place. Looks very quiet and peaceful.
