Yes it was my first Boom & I will definitely be going back one day. They are both great festivals! The biggest difference I found was that Boom had a lot more hardships than OZORA, however at the end of the festival, once you survived the heat, it is very rewarding. OZORA was easier to deal with, mostly because there was so much cool water available. Boom is much bigger, so you will do a lot of walking there & the water situation was not very good. Warm water & ridiculous lines to wait for it. Thank God there was a lake there to cool off in throughout the day. Boom has much more nudity, also more expensive than OZORA. For Boom you must get there 3 days early to guarantee a good camping spot in the shade. If you are camping in the sun it will be very difficult & hot. The stage design at Boom was amazing though, perhaps the best in the world. I plan to make a video soon where I compare the 2 festivals. All in all I would say Boom was my favorite, but it wasn’t easy. Also there was a big problem with theft there this year, also people selling fake “stuff”. At OZORA there were many undercover cops, so you had to have a contact to find it.
@@JoshuaVineyard1 Thank you for your reply So cops at ozora would essentially take you to prison if you were found buying ? Or had ingested something and were tripping and a cop saw you, does that mean trouble? Portugal i know is a lot more relaxed about this but correct me if im wrong.
@@MN-jr4nm you are correct, don’t get me wrong, many people were able to find “stuff” however I found it difficult, so did many other people. There was a guy selling at the fire, but it was all fake. I found the best way was to join a Facebook group that is going & people can share information. My Hungarian friend told me that the undercover cops are the guys with muscle’s & tattoos, trying to blend in. Definitely be careful. Boom is much more easy to find “stuff”, but the guys from Lisbon are selling fake stuff. Lisbon is famous for selling fake “stuff”. Now days they discovered Boom, so they moved in to sell & I suspected had a lot to do with the theft going on.
@@JoshuaVineyard1 Fair enough. But there was no need to worry in ozora thought right ? like lets say if the undercover people came and asked you would it be a problem if you were on something ?
@@MN-jr4nm no, they are more interested in the people that were selling. That is why it was hard to find. The people selling were too scared to do it in the open. At boom it is completely in the open, but at OZORA you had to know where to go. Definitely recommend making friends with some local Hungarians, they will help point you in the right direction.
Hello, thank you for you comment, however I’m sorry you are mistaken. @2:05 Tayko Ha-Ya-To Drum Masters played a set before Atmos to open up the Dance Temple & @ 3:53 that was the end of Atmos set on the opening day. Braincell didn’t play until the following day & it was epic as well!
