Hi Dez, yes it surprised me that Paddy was absolutely fine with the drone! I will practice with it so I can get some good footage to mix in with the usual points of view! Thanks for your comments!
Hi Eugene...........I could have done with watching your channel first for drone tips! I have taken it out today and have got some better footage. I know the neo is almost idiot proof when it flies itself...........however, I did my best to mess it up! :-)
Hello Tom nice work with the drone here are 2 useful apps that I use when flying my drone, Drone Assist and UAV forecast the first is giving places where you must not fly and the other is giving the weather conditions where you are. Keep Smiling 👌
Hi Lloyd, I am really keen not to have to control the drone at all and the good thing about the neo is that that is possible. What is interesting though is that there is quite a lot of skill involved even without manually flying it and it was obvious with my first attempts that I was clueless. Getting to know which mode to use and on what settings in order to get some good shots (without crashing it) will take some time, but I'm already getting a bit better. Also letting it fly itself and not connected to a phone is the easiest way of losing it, as in that mode it will not cope with flying over big drop offs or water! Having said that I think it is the perfect, cheap drone for me! Thanks for the advice on the two apps, I will definitely check them out! I hope you are all good mate!
@@TheReluctantOutdoorsmanPlus The UAV forecast app is what police drone operators use as a very nice plod told me when he enquired about the drone and if I had operating licence which I did and no more was said except he was more likely to get one himself. I'm surviving with the heat and of course fantastic food on the island of Tenerife.👍👍
Hi Tom. very interesting post, Must say how well Paddy was enjoying and beavering off the lead with a drone flying about close to too him.

If there is one place that is perfect for drone shots it's Jersey, Tom😊
Hi Sheila, you're not wrong......I've just got to learn how to use it properly! 😊
