you can tell when sam is just saving his vocal chords for more demanding performances later on in the set... very smart performer. just using pure vocal frys for this song.
This performance doesn't do Sam justice. He actually kills it live. Saw them on the new York stop on their us doomsday tour and he sounded like God tier
Sounds more like he is saving his voice by adjusting a little the technique.
I was one of the mosh pit. I was at the Resurrection that year and never listened to this group but the performance was really great. Really can't say the performance was bad. It was incredible and made me be on the mood for the rest of the festival
Everyone has bad days.
Even though he has a tired voice, this is still dope.

People saying his voice is tired, Has been screaming for a multiple hour set, the mix could use work, they just released 2 songs proving his voice is very much not tired
Saw Architects live in Vancouver and Sam's vocals were off the fucking charts.
It was an unbelievable performance by all of the band really. If that man gives his voice time to rest, he can absolutely destroy a set.

i feel like his voice is just getting lower cause he's getting older :D his screams will slowly became growls, and that would be a nice thing to see in Architects, surely way different.
Adrian Mierzejewski he does growls in shows , not bc he’s getting older, cattle decapitation lead singer does some crazy ass highs and he’s old , i think sam dosent do lows in their music due to the contract

They were pretty deep into the touring cycle at this point so it's natural that he sounds a bit fatigued. Although, he sounded a lot better at Reading Festival which was around a month after this so he could have just been having an off day for all we know. I saw them at Alexandra Palace a couple of weeks ago and Sam sounded fantastic! :)
I'm pretty sure it's just a poorly mixed recording when it comes to the vocals. But I could be wrong. But there are other lives videos of them around this time where he sounds fine.

Thats how you sound when you cup the mic as heavy as he does.. I love their records, but his voice live is completely fucked up.
Seen them twice during current tour and his voice sounds perfect live. This is just poor mixing. Go watch any song they did from alexandra palace a few weeks back and it sounds better than the studio.
These smaller European festival shows have shit sound tech. Lamb of god did a similar tour and on 1 live video Randy sounded like a schoolgirl and thats one band who are again perfect live.

Nick Hetzschold Man, they are awesome, it's not only their great music, it's that you feel a lot of energy coming out from them and that makes you feel the same way, thing that I haven't felt in other shows of my favourite bands. If you have the chance, you should see them, their shows are amazing

It is the mix. He sounded the same in the Netherlands Show and just one day after that he sounded as great as always. Its just the bad mix.
sam goes through rough patches with his voice due to the incredibly difficult style of screams he chooses to do, 90% of the time he is spot on. this performance just happens to be one of those rough nights, he could have also been sick possibly

I seen them live here in cleveland a month or 2 ago. Jesus sam. I fell inlove with this band a week before i went to that concert. If I wanted to i could habe touched the new guitarist. I think it was the new one but still. An amazing night. I don't think he sounded that bad. Sam dude take a break man If you keep going on like that your gonna become like oli sykes. However if u guys ever come back to cleveland ill definitely see you. Ill kill someone if it means i can hear you guys live again

@@user-vi5nc7co2t ну, ты неправ. У Сёмы довольно сложный в воспроизведении звук, где смешано много чего. А тут он неумело крякает потому, что поломал связки. Дальше он подтянулся и научился не ломаться
@@unoki_one нууу, тоже может быть. Просто я в студии очень много таких «кря-кря» слышал, которые после эффектов и сведения очень круто звучали. Вокалист Heaven Shall Burn, In Flames тоже иначе звучат без обработки. Да и вообще у большого количества крутых команд. Скримы в принципе дело вкуса. Для многих это вообще шум. В любом исполнении.
