Saw Architects live in Vancouver and Sam's vocals were off the fucking charts. It was an unbelievable performance by all of the band really. If that man gives his voice time to rest, he can absolutely destroy a set.

They were pretty deep into the touring cycle at this point so it's natural that he sounds a bit fatigued. Although, he sounded a lot better at Reading Festival which was around a month after this so he could have just been having an off day for all we know. I saw them at Alexandra Palace a couple of weeks ago and Sam sounded fantastic! :)
I'm pretty sure it's just a poorly mixed recording when it comes to the vocals. But I could be wrong. But there are other lives videos of them around this time where he sounds fine.
Seen them twice during current tour and his voice sounds perfect live. This is just poor mixing. Go watch any song they did from alexandra palace a few weeks back and it sounds better than the studio. These smaller European festival shows have shit sound tech. Lamb of god did a similar tour and on 1 live video Randy sounded like a schoolgirl and thats one band who are again perfect live. So less talking out your arse

sam goes through rough patches with his voice due to the incredibly difficult style of screams he chooses to do, 90% of the time he is spot on. this performance just happens to be one of those rough nights, he could have also been sick possibly

Вокалист Heaven Shall Burn, In Flames тоже иначе звучат без обработки. Да и вообще у большого количества крутых команд. Скримы в принципе дело вкуса. Для многих это вообще шум. В любом исполнении.

It is the mix. He sounded the same in the Netherlands Show and just one day after that he sounded as great as always. Its just the bad mix.
