How do I wire this switch to be key on power only so the led in the switch only lights up when my key is on. This rocker switch has a red and black and a separate red black and white coming out of the switch 2023 rzr turbo r trying to connect to the pulse bar witch is red black and yellow if you can help thanks
I ordered one for my x3 how do I make the middle light turn on since I have the separate harness to the side because I don’t have turn signals ,brake hooked up
What color wire is for mode changing for (momentary). and what terminal on the switch does it connect to? Thanks.
Question…. I got recently purchased this chase light and mine too has the blue middle lights. Everything else is hooked up (brake lights) but I want the middle blue lights on its own switch. How would I go about that? A 3 prong rocker switch? The wiring portion is where I’m stuck

Watch this video. It will show u how to power up that circuit for your other light
What wire you would you have to wire separately so that the lights that flash don’t turn on and just the other lights turn on. would it be the white wire or the red ?
Do you n d to add an inline fuse? If so what amp?
is it possible for if you also make the blue be connected to a separate switch or strobe or can it be on the same one and have a different pattern for the blue one and last question is can you make it to were only the brake lights are on and you can turn off and on the yellow and blue
the blue could be put on a separate switch or controller yea... and no the rest of those functions are internal to the chase light.
If you want a better bar get a Feinix Quad 600 or 800. It will do Stop / tail / turn functions and it will flash red/blue/amber/white and you can wire to go all white as a flood/backup light. Each individual light head is 4 colors! much better product with more capabilities.
YO G life will these mounts work in a can am x3 with oem roof?????
U dont need any mounta honestly. The light has a channel that runs along the length of the back of the light. U can use the 2 provided long bolts.. the bolt head goes in the channel and u just drill 2 holes in the cage. Or in the case of the x3 it has 2 holes already
My chase light still stays on when motor is off. Will this drain my battery?
What size bolts did you use to mount to chase to those claps? I have the same clamps
FYI anyone that is looking for hardware to fit the ends of that chase light with same brackets. I used M4-0.7 x 20mm or M4-0.7 x 18mm screws and added a washer fits firm
Same way I mounted mines about a month ago. I got the Amber option don’t wanna get the rangers all lit at glamis with the red n blues haha.
Your not wrong.. i told this dude to get the one with green or with white but 🤷 i also have the one with blue🤦 but i can atleast turn off the blue separately.🤟😁
How do you turn off the blues separate?? lol I don’t always want to look like a cop
How do i connect the center white led ?
I have 4 wires which are white brown blue and red
And i dont know where to connect them in my can am x3 ?
My brake lights have
Black
White/orange
Purple Wires but don’t know where to connect so my white led turns on .
One of the wires.. not sure which will control the white light.. for the white light i usually recommend to wire it to maybe ur some lights or to a seperate switch
Do you have to cut into the factory wiring to get the brakes light I am running late to work?
would you happen to know the screws needed for the stock can am 4 cage? i cant seem to find any video or anything about it
You just need some long bolts that fit the back channel of the chase light and go thru the tune of the can am in the center where there is already existing holes
@@GLifeUTV thansk for the reply ! i had to diy some brackets in the time being. Now the fun part begins learning how to connect everything. im watching the video in parts to guide me
Great video!
I was looking at adding one to my car but didn't know how I should mount it.
Now I do!
Thanks for sharing!
Hey bro since this video. Ive learned that mounting is even easier. The chase light has a channel on the back where the head of some long bolts can run thru .. simply drill some holes in the cage and put the bolts thru 🤙
Hey bro! So I’m knew to the game and I just installed the xprite mirrors on my rzr but I wired the power and ground to the battery should I wire the power and the ground to the circuits under the hood I’m not very familiar with this but the switch stays lit even when key is off and I’m using the harness that they came with
Usually yes u need to wire them to an accessory on circuit. Almost all of these manufacturers only offer a harness that really doesnt have an ignition power provision. For the most part you will have to make ur own harness.. i can provide a video that shows how to wire the switch. And this switch powers the relay.ua-cam.com/video/eMxZTGrcoS4/v-deo.html
Or go switchpros wiring will be a hell of alot easier. Plus u will have bluetooth
What size mounting bracket did you use on your canam?
Turns out you don't need brackets.. for the factory cage just just the two holes in the center of the cage. Run two bolts thru the center channel on the chase light bar and stick it thru the cage holes
@frankglife what size chase bar do you think would be good for a turbo s
Frank
I ran same bar on my rzr and when I installed it it was great but when I ran the red wire to my oem rzr brake light it kinda flickers so basically the red wire from the chase bar was ran to the wire that the rzr would be the brake light once it connected the chase bar flickers...hope I’m explaining it correctly
Nah it flickers without pressing the brake pedal. So on the rzr there is a wire that has very little voltage until you press on the break I connected it to that wire and the chase bar brake lights flicker while idling
@@franciscoestrada5809 so there is voltage on that circuit without pressing pedal. i would say then thats ur issue. shouldnt be backfeeding any voltage.
@@GLifeUTV Yes sir there is voltage on that circuit before I press on the pedal and once I do press the pedal then the light illuminates higher.. OK let me check my wires & see once going on Thanks you sir hope to see you in glamis soon
Hi Frank, question the red break light wire from the chase bar it connects directly to the back of the tail break light on the Can Am? Thanks
Yes for the break lights.. the chase light trigger can be wired directly to the brake light circuit at the taillamp
@@zjoncarlorodriguez1261 depending on the color u get. If u got white maybe u wont them hooked up with some interior dome lights so u can out them on a switch Or as a reverse light. If u have blue or green maybe u want them on when ur whips are on. U just need to provide power to correct extra circuit
Where can I find those brackets so I won’t drill into the roll cage
@@chriszuniga2680 to mount the chase light to a stock cage x3. We found out from an awesome viewer that u dont need any extra brackets. This chase lights come with a Channel at the back of the bar that two bolts slide into.. those two bolts go into two holes in the stock cages 👍
Great video!!! Thanks
You prolly dont care but if you're stoned like me atm then you can stream all of the latest movies on instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my girlfriend for the last couple of weeks xD
Hey bro ! Great Videos ! What if i wanted to do an amber light rocker switch , like the can am stock type , would it still be possible to change the patterns on chase
Light ? Or would it just work to turn on and off ?
It would turn on and off and u would have to have an additonal momentary switch for changing colora
@@GLifeUTV kool bro ! thanks for taking the time to share all the great info 👍🏼
Wires in the cage can be a problem.
Tracking wires is impossible.
Removing your cage is a pain
Welding anything to it later is a no go .
No offroad race vehicle is wired in the cage .
Just my opinion
It does look cleaner tho
Your right they can be, and i wouldn't recommend on a race car.. but on a play car, i think it's fine 🍻
🥰
Not much help"
Need to show the installation of the wiring on the switch
we have a wiring how to video aswell
