As someone working in VC I always cringe when I see Harvard founders try to squeeze 'Veritas' into the company name somehow.

Hey Samuel, ich wurde angenommen zur ETHZ und fange dieses Herbstsemester als Bachelor in MEng an. Any tipps für ETH und Zurich life overall so als erfahrener Schweizer? Mich würde auch interessieren, wie man das im Idealfall mit Praktikas so macht, weil der Studiengang vom Plan her echt wenig Praktika zulässt?
ETH is really annoying when it comes to internships. I think it really hurts ETH students that they cannot do internships properly. If there is any way for you to do an internship at any point, do your best to get it :)

Since I got nominated as a high school graduates for this scholarship, I wanted to ask you if you have some tips or advice for the selection seminar of Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.
Yes, there is an ongoing hype in investing in AI. But AI, as a whole field, would experience successive bouts of advancement. Those discoveries and inventions will sustain a steady influx of capital to start-ups for many years to come. Would it be valleys and peaks? Of course. No one knows the right place, the right time, or the specific field. Take the OpenAI story as an example. The real fashion in those years was autonomous driving. What's left of that? Lots of broken promises. Years later, Transformer arrives and changes everything. Now, you have Diffusion Models, which have changed everything. What would be the next big idea? Nobody knows. This is science Samuel, there is a lot to discover and a lot of money to be made.
