if you see this sometime, mike, i would like to thank you for inspiring my friends and i enough to form our quartet. you, the dapper dans, main street, and everyone in the harmony society. music is amazing
Something tells me that move the gentleman in red did was not planned! Tony De Rosa (the musical director of the Dans) nearly fell over backwards, stop singing and to top it off he knocks off his hat in hilarity
Myron is in a number of vids from WDW as a Dan too. I thought I saw Mike in a picture as one. I read that all of Main Street are current/previous Dapper Dans. Now it all makes sense. :) I'm a fan for sure!
In fact, if you check my channel, I posted a video I shot in May at WDW of Myron and Mike (and two other Dans I don't recognize) doing a little pre-parade performing for the gathering crowd.
This is great stuff. But will someone explain something to me? Having never given it much thought beyond knowing that the Dans are sort of a mix-n-match crew, And the color of uniform depicted the voice part. So I see 6 or 7 different colors of uniforms here. With member Dans stepping in and out of the quartet, a whole new color scheme is established each song. So what is the story of the color of uniforms and the voice part? Or are they not related?
There is no specific color for the different parts. There are multiple Dans that sing each part. Some Dans also know multiple parts that way if someone gets sick there are always people to fill in. Keep in mind that they work 7 days a week and work from morning till mid afternoon.
@@kylepatton2106 That happens to be the case at Walt Disney World. At Disneyland, the tenor wears yellow, the lead is purple, baritone is a aqua/neonish blue, and bass is red. Green is thrown in on occasion on any part and during special times of year they all wear the same color pants, vests, bowties, hats, and arm garters

I think they were all Dapper Dans at one point, which is one of the reasons I love them.

Two of them were in my ( Joe DeRosa's) chorus. This is awesome .
I miss Neel
There's Tony!
The chord at 21:44 is so nice
I love how you can hear them laugh at themselves at 18:45

18:09 lol

Yes it is. Kevin Miles! Good eye!
Mike McGee fantastic bass. Loved that quartet 🖒
I’m so sad that Kevin’s retired now
He would always sing happy birthday for my sister every time she came to Magic Kingdom for her birthday
