    This is the second bracelet I've made, the first was a candy cane stripe. I almost made a full bracelet just from practicing backward forward knots, but the daisy chain really helped me with understanding the 4 basic knots and also with my knot tension. I was so frustrated trying make a chevron bracelet because I thought it was easy enough to start making one with 12 strings. This pattern renewed my enthusiasm for making bracelets so thank for making a tutorial because I love your videos

    I’m still mostly a beginner at friendship bracelets, maybe dipping into the early side of intermediate in terms of patterns, and these will be great for practicing my knots! It’s simple enough that I don’t have to give it all my focus, so I can churn it out in an hour or two, letting me do other stuff as I make it!

      @@daisyrainbow4209 for me it did! i startet with a twelve knot loop and made the other loops out of 5 knots on each side (so 10 knots in total). I made 16 loops and ended with a flower. after the flower i made two braided strings, one of them is 11.5cm long and the other one is 21.5cm because i use this one to put it through the first loop and tie it with the other string!
      The part with all the loops goes to right behind my ears on both sides but i feel like i have a pretty thick neck, maybe it's just me :D I didn't use enough thread to make it longer so I compensated with the ending :D but I'm so happy with it, it's really cute!

    ok some of the strings ended up too long when finished, not including the excess string needed for closing the bracelet. specifically, the yellow string ended up being WAYYY too long after finishing the bracelet for me (about 2-3 ft too long). The main background color string (pink is the one mashaknots used) ended up being the right amount based on the length she's doing in the video. Then the white string was little long but still bearable (1 ft too long). I hope this helps for those that are thinking about doing this beautiful project~

    AHHHH TYYY SMMMM 🙏🙏
    I’ve been trying to learn how to make bracelets but not the beads one, I’ve been wanting to do this with threads and every tutorial for how to make these types, they made me confused and I felt like I was doing something wrong each time. But this tutorial helped so much. Like it was the best tutorial for me!
    [a lot of writing below]
    My very first bracelet I made with threads was ur vid and the time span for it was 2 days (new years eve and the day before) but it was only bc I started it at 7:42ish PM and had to put my things up at 11 bc we were going out, and picked it back up around 2PM the next day and finished around 4PM
    It took me long bc I kept messing up, but it was bc of the flower part, that part was the hardest. And then I made a new one yesterday on New Year’s Day but started it at 1PM and finished at 4PM, I was kinda impressed with my self…
    Then I made a third one also yesterday but at 10PM and ALMOST finished at 1AM (I was done but I needed to see if it fit the person I was making it for (and it was for my little cousin, but she was already sleeping that’s why), so before I closed it off I put it aside for the morning and then measured it to see if I needed to make it longer) then I kept working at 10AM and finished at around 11:46 AM (I finished this bracelet just a few minutes ago like rn)
    I’m so happy at myself bc each time I was getting quicker with it ^^ ! Ty imma use ur vids to help on making bracelets!!♥️♥️♥️

    Thank you for the awesome tutorial. my bracelets won't make the "bubble" -- should i make the bubble sections longer or shorter to achieve the effect?

    • @SleepyTani
      @SleepyTani 3 роки тому

      if your knots are a bit tighter, you have to make the bubble sections longer to get the same look. hope this helps!

      I push up the inner sides of the bubble sections before making the first white knot. This makes them more round ^^

    I was just wondering if you actually meant like 74-80 inches because that’s seems like a lot! I know you definitely know what you are doing and I never do many bracelets , it just seemed super long. AMZIGG BY TUTORIAL THOUGH!

      You fold it in half for the loop! But either way the measurements aren’t one size fits all, you’ll have to tweak them for yourself

    I’ve made a ton of these and am totally in love with the look and pattern, but my “chain” sections keep stretching out or curling up on themselves. I’ve shortened my chains to only 5 knots and it’s helped a little. I’m about to try one with just 4 knots per side to see if that helps even more. Could a change of tension help too? Or maybe different thread? Open to any and all suggestions. Thanks!

    I followed the tutorial but some reason I ended up with a ring? Do you think it might be because my string was thin, because I was a little surprised.😅

    i commented on the video where you posted a loop tutorial but i feel you have a higher chance of seeing here,
    how would i tie the bracelet onto my hand? could you show in a video how you tie it onto yours?

    • @MashaKnots
      @MashaKnots  3 роки тому +2

      There's a demonstration in my beginner's guide video but you just put one end through the loop but not the other and just tie it together!
