Love the action where you screen on your own man against a switch 😃

It’s so subtle, but extremely effective.

Was that invented by Rick Majerus? This concept is not used enough vs switching. When switch occur a lot of teams just Iso 1v1. Sometimes it can be effective but there are better ways in my opinion, such as Boomerang Pass, Screen your Own, or Bunch Formation used by Golden State to counter Switching.@@TheFilmRoom1

Still a student of the game, but very interested to hear from others who watch these. Am I the only one who has to stop and start this video like I'm actually in the Film Room???

Hi can you do a video covering Houston's aggressive pick and roll defense and how to beat the blitz? Thank you

Have you seen any examples of end of game FTs?
I high school, we were up 3 and fouled. Opposing team shooting two FTs. Naturally, opposing team wanted to make the first, miss the second for a rebound and put back.
Once they made the first, our coach had us violate the lane before the shooter received the ball and stay there. When the shooter missed, it was an immediate dead ball (no rebound possible). We repeated this a few more times till they made it. We already had called an inbounds play which the other team wasn’t prepared for. Inbounded the ball and it was over.
I haven’t seen anything about this anywhere. Did we get lucky with a referee who didn’t know a small rule, or did we find a glitch in the matrix?
I see so many teams losing on the make the first rebound put back play. Drives me crazy.
    Ever seen this done?

I guess I’m confused how you stood inside the lane on the 2nd free throw and they shot and missed multiple times until they made it. That part confuses me, but to answer your question - I’ve never heard of a situation like this.

Great video. Idk who your target audience is but a vast majority of youth basketball teams play zone defense. Not sure if some of this stuff is viable

I did 3 different videos already on how to score against 2-3 zone and 1-3-1 zone. If you’re coaching youth basketball - please go check those out. I think it’ll help you! Thanks for commenting.
