- The band "Cinnamon and Clove" live at the Festival of the arts in Laguna Beach. The band plays groovy bossa nova and 60s bossa pop ala Sergio Mendes and Brazil '66. The video features Anne Walsh and Dawn Bishop on vocals, Tom Zink piano, Tony Shogren Drums, Paul Luis Guitar, and David LeVray on Bass. Some performances were done with the addition of tracks (sometimes performed with live orchestra). See more at www.candc66.com

I'd like to add though, that despite this song was made famous in the US by Sergio Mendes, and in Brazil by the voice of Wilson Simonal, the song's actual composers are Antonio Adolfo and Tibério Gaspar.

Dear Robert, this song was originally written by Antônio Adolfo and Tibério Gaspar. Its Brazilian title is "Sá Marina" ( Lady Marina) you can find many videos of its original singer Wilson Simonal. In the US, Sérgio Mendes released an English version.

Very nice and smooth. This group has been able to basically imitate the great Sergio Mendes and Brazil 66 almost to perfection. It reminds me of something out of the Bible, where Paul the apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ says to the church followers “be ye imitators of me“
