Cubing has carried us through a lot of dark times in life in the sense that it’s become a go-to activity whenever we are stressed or upset it helps ease our minds and hearts. The main reason i got into cubing was because two of my older friends started cubing, and I decided to hop into the trend. As for me, cubing is super important to me just because its basically the only talent im actually good at.
Edit: Why is THIS the most liked story here? Oh yeah, also, i forgot to add another reason, its a way of calming myself down.

I started 6 months ago today, as i got my first cube for Christmas. But it wasn’t just some random gift, i had been asking for about a week and a half by then. I started my fascination with the cube when i saw multiple people could solve it at my school, and I thought it was dark magic or something. I wanted to learn how, so I asked for a cube. My first cube was a Qiyi Warrior with carbon fiber stickers. I immediately locked myself in my room and started the journey of getting faster and faster until I was sub-30.

For me it’s also to relax but when a way to school, I was named by a lot of names (I speak french but I will try to translate) like the rubik's cube, no life guys or nerd, so I put the cube on a table and I forgot a lot of algorithms, after I was sad cuz It is one of my passions and I stop it for the so I do it with myself. and sorry for the mistake
Cubing inspires me to do new things. My classmates is also one of the things that inspires to cubing and I was so slow and couldn't beat him when I know how to solve but when I saw you, you inspire me to go faster. That's why I use cfop and some of the algorithms you use to go even faster. Thank you.
Cubing is important for me because i like the fact that every cuber tries and work hard to get better and better , even with an avg of 7-8 , still they struggle to work hard and practice and try n achieve the time they want ,thats how in our lives we should never give up and keep up our motivation to achieve what we desperately want...

Pretty much my life story as well. Cubing helps me relax for a while, before facing my life again.
To cubing when i have nothing to do but just play games i just practice f2l to get better and when im done with f2l im gonna do the same as oll and pll
To me,cubing is something that I am good at and I like it because I am not good at any sports or outdoor activities and this is something that I love
For me, cubing is important because my two friends were into it so I wanted to try and solve it as fast as they can and to show what talent and good at. Also if I ever had a long day I would just go to my desk and just start cubing

and of course the moment I try them, I get 1 second x cross with another pair ready in front of me, made a pair and it solves another pair then pll skip

Head,cubing is a way for me to relax and because I like to learn more I do a lot puzzles and it’s a way for me to relax iPad I stareted 4 months ago and iam average 15 .break a leg.

i got into cubing when one of my friend who has a cube,he can solve one side so he taught me how to do and i asked my parents to buy a cube for me and a few days i was like mad to solve it so i watched tutorials and finally solve the cube,later i got know there is a method called cfop to solve a cube faster and now i am averaging 25 secs by 2 look oll and pll and it is important to me because its the only entertaining work that i gave my best and ill cube for mo times❤
