+Jack Anderson we use a lot of ten pound Fireline and either long line crankbaits or use a clip on snap weight to get deeper. We haven’t found where we need to use a fluorocarbon leader on Fort Peck.
+Jack Anderson should be close, thought the app had a ten pound mono leader at twenty feet, the lead core will actually run just a touch deeper with a shorter lead.
I LOVE FT. PECK! best lake in the lower 48.
Great episode, Jason! Always great to see you wearing your life jacket!
What kind of line and leaders were on your jigging rods??
Used mostly six pound Berkley XL Mono
Do you use a leader or just straight mono ????
+Jack Anderson straight mono unless I am using braid, than I will use a fluorocarbon leader.
How do you connect the braid to the leader ?
@@summitreigns1657 Double Uni Knot or Alberto Knot
Are you pitching towards shore ?? Or are you just casting into water that is wide open ??
Great video guys.
What kind of line and leader should I use for trolling crankbaits on fort peck in the summer for walleyes??? Also how long of a leader ?

Is leadcore good ?
@@summitreigns1657 yes typically run 18 lb lead core with a ten pound Fireline leader that is two arm lengths long.
Jason Mitchell Outdoors is the precision trolling app accurate with leadcore and a different leader then what they have
