In order to study Human Skeleton it is divided into Two Parts:
1) AXIAL SKELETON: consist of 3 parts
a) Skull
b) Vertebral column
c) Rib Cage
2) APPENDICULAR SKELETON: consist of 4 parts
a) Pectoral Girdle/ Shoulder Girdle
b) Upper Limb
c) Pelvic Girdle
d) Lower Limb
