My man, I lost it when he said that shit. I’m 42, three kids, youngest is my girl. I didn’t lose my shit when my grandmother died, or my best friend, and I loved them both. I lose my shit when I watch this stuff. He would’ve never stopped giving us more. People may argue the GOAT, but Kobe took parenting and his outside endeavors with the same intensity and fire as his on-court accomplishments.

The fact that you took the time to pull these random interviews/podcasts together and had the footage, even from moments in practice to accompany most of the stories must have taken an incredible amount of time and effort. I appreciate the fantastic work you did here and I want you to know that your efforts did not go unnoticed. This was truly superb.
I'll never forget the night Kobe dropped 42 in the 1st half on Jordan. Or the game he out scored the Mavs through 3 qrts. Or so many unbelievable performances that seemed super-human. "Everybody take your shoes off!". RIP Mamba. Gone too soon

Those stories about old angry Kobe were hilarious 😭😭😂😂 I'm glad he was able to finally chose retirement & just smile finally. I know his career didn't end with competing for that 6th ring like he wanted it to. But still such an awesome legacy he has!
Kobe is truly one of the greatest, and his work ethic was out of this world. One of the best to ever play the game. Forever missed and loved for the legacy you built. Rest in peace king, and he's there in heaven working his ass off still. Picking God's brain on how to be great in heaven. Rest in peace GIGI your father was one in a million and you was for the next great thing.
I think Sasha Vujavic is probably one of kobe favorite teammates. He wasnt the most talented player, but he always comevto play and give his best.
Sasha, Odom and Pau. Maybe you can add Fisher too. But I think both Odom and Pau were definitely his favs.

The Kobestopper footage (Ruben Patterson) ...I'd love to hear what he had to say after kobe repeatedly lit him up & hit so many last-second/clutch shots against him, especially in the playoffs. And anything from the Spurs, who it seemed for awhile played (& mostly lost) the Lakers in the playoffs all the time. Oh, & what were the raptors thinking during "81"???

Kobe knew subconsciously that he would only have 41 years to live. He worked like he's on borrowed time hence you never heard any longing or missing the game when he retired. He was truly done, he knew he did ALL he can in the time he was in the NBA. His life was a compressed hive of efficiency and accomplished goals. He knew, he knew he didn't have much time.
