Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta - Timelapse Short Film

- Every year the city of Albuquerque host the largest hot air balloon event in the world, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.
Early every morning a group of 6-12 hot air balloons known as Dawn Patrol ascend into the deep blue sky before sunrise. These skilled pilots test wind and weather conditions as other pilots and crews begin to lay out hundreds of balloons across the field.
Just a dawn begins to break, the next wave of balloons lift off. When the sun rises above the Sandia Mountains it simultaneously fills the morning with beautiful light as the balloons fill the sky with color. The next 60-90 minutes are a great mix of fun and chaos as several hundred more balloons lift off, wave after wave.
I had a absolute blast capturing this nine day festival. Even though the weather cancelled several events it was nevertheless an incredibly beautiful and successful time! Thank you for taking the time to watch :)

The views from a distance that show them flowing and bobbing across the sky in front of distant mountains are truly stunning, and sweetly charming.

I have wanted to go for years but I heard that Albuquerque has a high crime rate of shootings and gangs so that has deterred me from going. ;(
Dude that's crazy Albuquerque has some gang issues but they are handled and controlled in areas of the city! Abq is gorgeous full of friendly hippy minded people
where do they land?
Just wherever. I live in abq, relatively close to the balloon park, and there are cars sort of following the balloons, and one year, a bunch of them landed right in my neighborhood. I woke up to a balloon flying really close to the ground right above our house, and I got up and got dressed, and we took a little drive and just up and down our street there were like five balloons that had just landed by the street.
Wherever there's room. One landed at the elementary school I went to. We got to see them deflate the balloon and put it away.

i'm an Air Traffic Controller and aspiring musician from Ireland.
I've just completed an instrumental electronic piece of soundtrack, the theme of which is unpowered/Hot Air flight.
Would it be possible to use a few seconds of footage from your awesome video on an accompanying video that i would be using
as background during live performances and maybe as part of a compilation on a youtube video?
