I have the 14x6.5 in gloss ebony and it sounds amazing. I wouldn't mind having a USA Custom kit in the same finish.

Gorgeous sounding drum. The groove in the low tuning part sounded a lot like the groove in the TV show Fargo! I love that groove.

Is it possible to get one with a Micro-Sensitive throw-off instead of the Lightning throw-off?

yes they can do that. only custom option that doesn't work with that model is the snap-in key holder due to the shell thickness
