- Today I take a look at the early appearances of Moondragon in the pages of Iron Man and Daredevil. Additionally, this is the first of four videos where I take a look at the events of and the events leading up to The Thanos War.

I really liked Moondragon when she part of Adam Warlock and the Infinty Watch. Had a good run of issues but sadly ended abruptly.

OK , Moondragon is an alien Earthling coming back to analyze the fighting styles of 2 titans ( Ironman & Sub Mariner ) she should be able to realize she can out fight both men combined. Here's another 1 ?? Moondragon should DEFINITELY be mentioned as 1 of top martial artists in The Marvel Comics Universe!!
I'm guessing that Moondragon was created in the old Marvel style: they came up with the name and visuals for her and came up with her backstory later.
Maybe, but she plays pretty heavily into this storyline - and even though there are some continuity errors there seemed to be a bigger plan in place for this. But not sure as I haven't read up on Starlin's creative process.

I suspect that Thanos must’ve time travelled, since I can’t think of any other reason as to how an adult Thanos could’ve done a hit and run on her family’s car while simultaneously being a child around her age. Also I assumed Kazantra was a nanny and the third child was her own
Great point with Baby Thanos. This version of the origin story is dumped in the bin when it's retold in the pages of Captain Marvel. Thanos isn't mentioned in this version of events. I knew something was rubbing me the wrong way when I name dropped him. That's what it was.
Not sure if it touches on it here or another issue in a different title around the same time but somewhere is a passage stating Mentor and Sui-Suan had many children together. I think it says that Eros and Thanos were the most distinguished(?) or something to that effect.
At some point I might do a video on the ever changing narrative surrounding the early history of Titan. As every writer who covers it seems determined to make the story more problematic than the one who came before them.

You say that Thanos wasn’t involved in the hit and run, and yet Thanos being involved in said hit-and-run is the most commonly accepted explanation as to why comic Drax had such a hate-boner for Thanos-it’s because Thanos was responsible for the death of his wife and his daughter being an orphan
Marvel unfortunately has always done a crappy job maintaining canon or consistency in their space based civilizations. Kree, Skrulls, Shi'ar, Eternals of Titan, etc have all had their histories mucked up. Maybe because the space stories weren't considered as "serious" as the earth based ones. Those comics were always less valuable to collectors.
Yet, in the MCU, what's been THE story arc? An outer space one. Very profitable as well!
Moondragon/Heather Douglas deserved more canon looks into Guardians of the Galaxy. Her cousin Sundragon deserved exploration.

"Madam Mac Evil " has Always Been "Quite The Maneater " Long after she settled on the name "Moondragon" she depowered & tried Strangle Her, Adam Warlock's female sibling ( Although he never denied or confirmed his relationship with her ) over which female will win the ❤ of Quasar!! But in the end Kismet (Her's new name ) won..by putting an impregnate fungus on Quasar 's body...yeah Moondragon however, found true 😍 with a New girlfriend!! Last I read
Well, Phyla-Val - who took on the name Quasar for a minute during/around Annihilation. Odd that's who Moondragon ended up with. Especially since she was friends with Phyla's father. Quasar is now trapped in a Rick Jones scenario and is randomly tapped out just b/c
@@Cosmic.Comics Yeah that's the 1!! Phyla Val ( isn't she the daughter of the late " should had been Great " Captain Mar Vel who was killed by none other then Thanos?) The way Marvel Comics handled the guy with there franchise name 😔 is quite pathetic in comparison DC'S Captain ⚡Marvel ⚡!!! They have problems with him by NEVER on scale of Marvel's 👎👎👎
What’s wrong with the first video ? It plays for a little bit then says “ Something went wrong tap to retry” I have done that again & again even reloaded page , closed it , shut my phone off and it’s still not playing. Any help
