Hard to tell. An abandoned town will eventually decay. The nuke that is dropped at the end of the match is quite close too so realistically the Nuked town in Black Ops 6 is more accurate. (EDIT) Since I wrote this while watching the video, I didn't notice that the nuke in Cold War is still in the Drop Tower. Sure, you could say that the previous Nuke was used, put in a new Nuke which makes sense since this is a testing ground.

This is honestly confirms to me that the modern cod games purposely dial back on the ambient occlusion to increase visibility which also makes the overall visuals less "realistic" at times. However, I do think MW19 over does it. Cold War had the best balance imo

Holy sh*t, the indoor natural indirect lighting in those houses in Cold War looks so natural, looks very pretty. BO6 doesn't look bad generally but compared to Cold War or MW2019, lighting in BO6 just like in MWII and III looks washed out and flat, it doesn't sell the illusion that it's a real 3d space. Even though Cold War is built on an "outdated" IW engine, it still artistically looks better than the last 3 CoDs that are all on the most modern IW9 engine. People are saying that the lighting looks this way in modern CoD games in order to have better visibility but I don't know man, like literally just put glowing red outlines around the enemy characters and that will instantly and fully get rid of any visibility issues while you'll still be able to have good looking lighting in multiplayer maps...
Cold wars nuke town is probably my favorite, We’re so used to a clean new nuketown, but I also like the personality it has, probably the only nuke town set in the desert, to actually feel like you’re in the Nevada desert 😂
What made COD fun back in the day was we enjoyed the games and didn’t overanalyze them. Imagine if they showcased COD 4 vs MW2 vs MW3. Graphically nothing much changed. MW2 definitely improved on the formula gameplay wise. And MW3 was a downgrade but I will give that game survival. That was awesome. When you enjoy the moment and look past nostalgia, things are different

Black Ops 6's looks exactly how I would have imagined Nuketown would look if remastered 14 years later. It's nothing short of amazing. Cold War's had a cool style, it fit the rest of the game's style, by which I mean the game lacked colour and everything looked more bleak than it probably should have, given the fact the 1980s was a decade usually looked at to be bright and colourful, the visuals definitely did not have any of Treyarch's tough. It truly was just a Sledgehammer game released under Treyarch's name.
I wouldn't dare say Cold War's graphics are much better than the best looking Fallout game. Might look good in the video but actually playing the game, everything looks extremely artificial and unnatural.

When it comes to indoor lighting, indirect bounce lighting and ambient occlusion, it's not about what people think, Cold War objectively looks better than BO6 which can look flat and washed in indoor areas compared to Cold War. The same goes for MWII and III which also have the exact same problems as BO6. MW2019 also does this quite a bit better than the last 3 CoDs.

I've played both BO6 Nuketown and BOCW Nuketown, and BO6 Nuketown is so much better. It's a throwback to the original Nuketown and that on its own is an automatic win.

I absolutely loved Cold War as a whole but that version of Nuketown never grew on me. Even at the end I still thought it just looked like sht.
