It’s a bit more complex than that. The first two slots only boost their base Attacks like most other equips, while the third slot boosts their Attacks directly. So the third slot is much more important to get than the others. The main difference being that a direct Attack increase applies that percentage increase to *damage,* while a base Attack increase applies that percentage to *each respective Attack stat,* which is then factored into a damage equation to deal only slightly more damage. So if you aim for at least a high 4% or 5% in the third slot, that’s around a 15% damage buff off the get go, with some extra damage from the first two slots depending on how much their Attacks are already boosted. I managed to grind six of the awakened equips for them, as well as their unique equips for those sweet health/damage boosts. All of their equip slots basically fill out themselves: 1• Awakened equip 2• EX-only equip 3• Unique equip Also, assuming you get max rolls for both, EX Ginyu can get up to a 33% damage buff for no reason(max third slot on the awakened and max first slot on his character-unique equip). It’s crazy.

Arjun S Shenoy the only thing is is with the SP Ginyu you also get double buffs, but they are worth more. Consider this. Usually your core team against most meta teams is EX Ginyu, EX Burter, and EX Recoome. All three units benefit most from Strike attack. Really the only ones that benefit from Blast attack are EX Guldo and EX Jeice, and you only bring them in situationally. Also, health is arguably the best buff in the game when it comes to Z-Abilities, which is why not many units buff health. So, if you come across the chance to double buff health; take it.
Arjun S Shenoy honestly replacing any of them is questionable considering they have a complete color wheel granting you 100% versatility to any situation. Even the worst one, Jeice, is good enough to keep considering SP Yellow Cell and SP SS3 Gotenks are a thing on 2 big meta teams. If you REALLY wanted to get rid of anyone though, I would say either Jeice or Guldo and not Recoome. Recoomes kit may not be flashy but he has a team heal that heals all Ginyu Force members by 35%, gains a heal over time and a strike damage boost when sent below 50% health and the buffs are permanent, and has 30% damage mitigation for 10 seconds when brought in. Honestly if you wanted to put Golden Frieza in I would make him your 6th unit but even then, if you have a 5* SP Captain Ginyu it’s not worth it because his double buff is WAY better than Golden Frieza’s double buff considering you get health and strike boost over strike and blast attack and also that your core team (Ginyu, Recoome, and Burter) don’t benefit much from blast attack boosts.
