This channel is an absolute godsend. If I could comment on every video, I would. I'm not a student of philosophy, I'm just someone who loves the topic. I have insomnia, and these videos help ease me to sleep (not that they're boring! Greg just has a soothing voice!)

"the public" in the current context sounds like people on social media. Imagine if Christ return the first thing he needs is to create a Twitter account. Again, great video, can't wait for next one!

Some people on social media would be part of what K is calling the public, yes

If the functioning of the publicity provided by the public, both super concretions made of the individuals, that only can happen if rather than being proactive, they are the pressures nominated by a few persons, but neither really seem to have that power, they can’t reflect on themselves, either the press or the public.

Nowhy it’s like disillusionment of history, historicity in any pretense which gets disassembled and converted into more stuff to demolish, whichs only happening because there’s nothing else to do, seemingly. And I neglected to mention that these things are all elected and have no legitimate basis outside of our irrationally perceived phobias.

Although it’s alto the obvious choice that they have chosen to do, just so, put pressure on things and level them, mainly themselves, but that’s not to say that that’s always only something totally negative.
