    Find these videos so interesting and very addictive to watch amazing how they used to tunnel through the rock

    Your right there used to be a metal plate on top If that shaft no more than two bolts some years back. Great little mine not far from me. Ground is a little dodgy. Great video

    This is the dodgy area through the infamous Mt Wellington fault, and looks much more messy than when I was last in there 2 years ago

      I wasn’t sure but made sense that i would be a way of carrying water out of the mine before the use of pumping to surface.

    • @cornishxplora
      @cornishxplora  Рік тому +3

      100s of them

    • @bikechainmic
      @bikechainmic 4 місяці тому +3

      Too expensive and technically difficult to seal off, plus you dont want to trap large pockets of radon gas

    How do you retrace your route?

    • @cornishxplora
      @cornishxplora  Рік тому +1

      Go out the way we went in. Just remember your turns. Some go to a dead end. Some times you might feel a small air flow.
      Most of the time it’s just remembering the way you went.
