Music never sounded so good. One word... Awesome!
They should make a child car with this engine. Having a fast child car was my dream when I was about 6 years old
it sounds like being dead would be a side effect
arizona james lol I guess you might be right :D
sounds like a 250gto! that's some nsfw right there
No rev limiter just valve bounce 😂
Sounds like a mini merlin. AWESOME!
It's designed from the Merlin.
Der hört sich an wie Nobelschröder's Bentley aus Werner - Das muss Kesseln xD
Amazing. That thing runs so smooth and the sound when its revved is awesome. Someone has got to build an R/C car around this great piece of engineering. Great job!
That would be an amazing engine for a huge Rc mustang
Man that little engine sounds really sweet and smooth. I'll have to read up about it on your website.
What a sound, unbelievable! It is even more unbelievable that a small 8-10 horsepower engine can sound this good.
unglaublich! habe mir einige Videos angesehen und bin schwer begeistert! Und alles selbst hergestellt. Auch wie er läuft, auch die anderen Modelle... einfach nur Wahnsinn! Hochachtung!
totally agree. having an automotive-themed dining table with a v12 on the very center is just awesome :D
She sounds like a proper V12 too, fantastic little bit of kit!
Sounds sick good job building that master peace of an engine
Very nice engine, sounds really nice. I would love to have the tools and skills to build one some day !
I bet theres more than a few guys that cannot wait to put one of these into a large scale rc p51. I too am glad to see somebody run the engine till it floats the valves or at least show what it can do. That thing will be unstoppable with a slightly higher valve spring rating or dual springs. Very nice piece of engineering and machine work!
Really shows what happens when the valves start floating! Awesome work.. and.. the sound.....
Wauw... that is a smooth and quiet running engine!
mechanical beauty in motion and in engine note! love it
Was für ein geiles Teil..! Saubere Arbeit Jungs...
still sound nice
Ah valve float, the only rev limiting needed. You sir make masterpieces of art.
Now put that engine in a built to scale sized RC P-51 Mustang!!!
You could but you'd have to gear the engine speed down to accomodate the propellor speed.
Here's the thing - propellor tips go supersonic when they go too fast and they stop producing thrust.
This motor will make good power but only at high rpm. So, a gearbox is required that is strong and durable enough to keep the motor and propellor both happy.
Then one has to consider the thrust to weight ratio. You see retro fitting an engine to a plane can be done, but if that motor isn't purpose buily for an aircraft then all this other complex stuff starts to become apparent. For example cooling systen, fuel tank size, centre of gravity change as the fuel burns, weight of water, fuel delivery system and how manycbatteries you can carry. Fitting all of this into a P51 would probably require a purpose built plane. This can all be done for sure. But there's this one other thing - it's never going to sound like a Merlin because a Merlin only turns 3000ish rpm and this might have to turn 15000rpm, so the loveley forboding roar of your rc P51 might be off a bit.
In the meantime i have link to the sound of a motor you might like. Its is a 1.5litre supercharged V16 from waaaaaay waaaaay back in 1952:
m.ua-cam.com/video/OnEA-m8cVcE/v-deo.html
Sounds like bmw M50 engines with straight pipe ❤️
She sounds beautiful, Love the flames too
This is wonderful. Excellent job Artus!
Absolutely love the flames in the high range!
That great v12 engine in some kind of high scale RC plane maybe with fpv, mmm .. Great Job there !!!
Put that motor in a big P-6E! You'd want to flip the reduction gear down. Maybe 1/4 scale ? Ouch!
Magnificent, I want this engine sound as my ringtone, or not, I would never answer a call...
Love that sound!!!!!! Cannot wait to hear it on a model aircraft in the air!
I wish someone tried putting that to an RC car. :D
beautiful note. about time someone actually gets one of these spinning so you can hear it:)
please for the love of god put this on a go cart
why the fuck would you do that
why the fuck not
Because it's too small for the weight of a Go Kart. In order to get it to go, you'd have to gear it really low then It would only go at 5-10kph. You'd have to gear it low otherwise it would stall since it makes its power at high rpm.
It may produce 10hp as some say on here, but you have to remember a motor is an air pump. Using the air pump analogy, a larger single cylinder engine can pump the same amount of air as a smaller one, it is just the smaller one needs more rpm to do it. So a Briggs and Stratton (boring I know) with 10hp and 350cc puts the avilable power in a range suited to a Go Kart ie 1000-3500rpm whereas that V12 probably idles at about 2500rpm and doesn't make its 10hp until 15000rpm and its max torque in an rpm range the single cylinder engine does necessitating complex power robbing torque multiplying gears to put the power where it's needed.
There is a saying in engineering, Form Follows Function. Considering 10hp engines so we're comparing apples with apples the Briggs probably is the better option.
If you experimented you'd find this out - I'm just saving you the expense and anguish and ruining your dream in the process.
@@ThePaulv12 Could totally put it on an electric kart though, not for power, just for the sound haha!
@@liamscott8761 how about have it turning a generator which in turn powers an electric motors to turn wheels? That would work but wouldn't go too fast because the faster the electric motor driving it turns the more it resists accepting current from the generator. This is because it starts generating its own current which opposes the current from the generator. The way around it is to use 2x electric motors then as you get faster switch them from series to parallel. It's called transition :)
A WORK OF ART!
Perfect for a 1/4 scale P51 Mustang!
Dude imagine attaching one of those on a go kart
The flames shooting out of the tail pipes is cool
i like the bits of fire you got when it hit the governor
Love the valve bounce.
Wow!!!!! Sounds like a classic Lamborghini V12!! Well done man!!!!!!!
what a good way to stay cool in the hot summer
Hi Mr Artus,
This is Ivan Akinfiev from the email I sent you. I really enjoy these engines!
Sounds great.
Got a little valve float there. Maybe put in a rev limiter?
beautiful sound
you guys are going to be the AMG of the Model Airplane world.
ahahaah wow this engine is amazing, compliments to the manufacturer for the commitment
That's one hell of a fan!
Music to my ears 😌
A joy to behold!
I found a new way to wake up in the morning i need one of these
Now that's a cool idea
finally someone who revs one of these engine propely!
oh man I love the sound of that thing
Awesome sound
crazy!!!
thank you for sharing
Very nice work my friend!
awesome sound
Nice work. It would be cool to build a motorcycle with one ... that would be interesting!
Awesome work. I'd love to see it in a scaled to match P-51 Mustang.
hammer :-D sehr geiles anspringverhalten und der über sound :-D
Wow!!! My dads 1993 Cadillac could use a powerful motor like that!!! Great work!!!
Cool sound
Pretty cool engine.
I Love how one of the suggested uses is for a 1/3 scale car.
Can't wait to see it!
ich raste aus wie geil das ist!!!
Nice sound :)
the sound is very nice :0
Thats freaken amazing!!!
I like. it would make one hell of a industrial personal fun.
Awesome sound, do you plan some exhaust system for this engine? The picture about that car at the end is priceless! :)))
That is beyond badass!
friggin awesome !!
Love love love this!!!!!
Absolutely F__KING Awesome. That propeller at the end looks like it would suit a Spitfire. Has anyone made one with this engine installed in it yet? That would Kick ASS.
Damn!! Mate, you are incredible.
wow awesome job guys it sound like a miura
That's awesome!
i love this so much oh my god
Schöner Ventilator im Sommer :D
That's the upgrade my Vespa needs!
Good job! I wish I had one :D
gotta love that valve float.
Hermosa Joya, felicidades, Angel/Mexico
thank you so much - stay in contact :-)
sweet sound!! wish i had a motorcycle to put one in....:D
It's beautiful mate ^_^ now let's work on a w16 hahaha
sounds good
imagine putting that into a model of either a spitfire, hurricane, mosquito or a lancaster :)
Putting that on a go cart!
it sounds like a mtu marine engine! :D great work awsome engine :)
sounds.....great
danke euch
@ArtusMotor amazing
imk.. this engine better efficiency with longer piper. with resonator chamber. so the torque become better
I NEED ONE, i'll make a scale lamborghini exhaust so it sounds like a mini lambo, and then put it on a stand up scooter or a go-kart, something in that range. pure awesome sound in this vid!
Der Hört sich sowas von Geil an! *_____*
Damn the sound of the v12 is like music to my ears
thanks a lot! :D
