Trisha was born to play kundavai. She has a natural confidence and gethu to her. Aishwarya laxmi has a natural softness and feminity to her and she suited the poongzhuli role well. Everything worked out well in the end for ps in terms of casting. The actors carried the movie. Thank god mani ratnam has sense when it comes to casting.
