A totally Unbelievably Great Band since the first time I ever heard them. I saw them many many years age at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago at a concert that didn’t sell out and the five of us got in for like $6 or $8 bucks apiece. It’s one of the greatest shows I have ever seen. I was so caught up in the show and the mesmerizing music that they were laying down that by the end of the show somehow the crowd Agfa managed to have smashed about the front 50 to 60 chairs flat to the floor as everyone was going so crazy at how Great a show these guys had put on. And it seems as though I didn’t even notice it all going on until the show was over and I’m looking at my buddies and going WTF did we just see. These guys were fantastic and why in the hell didn’t this show sell out. We had gone to it at the last minute as we only heard about it that day, and am I ever glad that we all choose to go see this concert. It’s got to be in the top three concerts that I’ve ever seen and have never forgotten it.
Prachtig, de beste Band van Nederland. George, heel veel Kracht en Sterkte wens ik jou toe. Chris Hes heeft nog voor jullie gewerkt, dat heeft hij nooit vergeten, te gekke tijd met jullie gehad. Ik moest dit zo even doen,jullie snappen het wel. Heb jullie nog in Groningen gezien,altijd goed.
I grew up on Golden Earring. I am saddened by the news of George Kooyman's illness. I've loved their music since hearing Moontan as a very young boy. They have such a distinct sound. This set is a great combination of their newer and older material.
So this just popped up in my UA-cam autoplay and... the only Golden Earring I'd heard was Radar Love and Twilight Zone and apparently I've been missing out on some great music all these years.
My Favorite Band , simply the best all around band ever . Every song resonates with me . Sadly I only got to see them 3 times in the USA , after which they never came back touring but I have every record and what is even more amazing is the fact that the same lineup stayed intact for over 50 years ! Thank you for the music Golden Earring ! So sad about George ...............................Heartbeat !
De Earring heeft zo’n belangrijke muzikale rol in mijn leven gespeeld, en nog, als jong ventje van 9 begonnen met drummen en zoveel geleerd van deze band en uiteraard Ceasar Zuiderwijk.

Up here n north america not too many people know them but a couple of songs on radio but to me at 60 yrs of age greatest band n the world
