- Proceeds from sovereign Russian assets in Europe will be used to sponsor Ukraine: 90% to the army and 10% for humanitarian needs. Russia seems to have long said goodbye to that money, but it still cannot be confiscated by the EU. An alternative has been found - use profits generated by that money to support Ukraine's needs because of Russia's war.

There is precedent for this. During Desert storm the US seized 2 billion in Iraqi assets and gave it to Kuwait to pay for the damage, it had no negative effect on the banking system. Damage in Ukraine is already over 400 billion, Ukraine should receive all assets.
The Russian case is much more complex due to legal issues and that Russia is more entangled with a lot of international business, resources, dependencies, vs how Iraq was. Thus this process will be much harder, but thus also as far as they've come now, by just turning over the profits of Russian frozen investments/assets, is a HUGE step and a very important first step! Let's get more from Russia to be turned over to Ukraine!

Special taxes and levi's can be raised against countries that have warrented their assets to be frozen for more than 24 months. This wiggle room gives everyone else apart from Russia with any concerns that the West will just grab their reserve assets.
24 months should give counties plenty of time to stop their war mungering against a European continental country.

Now that the preverbal “West” has shown that other countries USD reserves aren’t safe from financial looting, and the Saudis aren’t locked into using dollars for the oil trade the US dollar is in dire straits. The U.S. is bankrupt as evidenced by printing 1 trillion in currency every 100 days and it’s GTP to debt ratio being upside down.
