As a recent convert to this show, when I watch them I don't really deel that they have that romantic chemistry. Chemistry is usually what makes me ship a non-canon (or even canon) couple. I just don't feel like they have "it". That being said I think they do have a sweet friendship/partnership which and it's always interesting to watch. Not sure how I'd feel if they got together.
You can not tell me that when you watch this scene you don't see two people who deeply LOVE eachother. And if you don't see that then you need to re-watch it again!!!
I love cold case and Danny Pino. Scotty & Lily should've had a chance to be together. They would've made it work on-screen. You can see their loyalty and how they adore each other on the show.

You know with Lill'ys hair she always wears it up as a shield its her symbol of armor. The only time she let's her hair down is when she's VULNERABLE and letting Scotty see her like that was big step as more than partners.

Maybe they would but..the show was never picked up for a new season, with a few arcs left unfinished, so I guess we'll never know eh.

Scotty was very fit, very handsome, had good style and a way better guy then that annoying Eddie.
