This clip showcases an authentic journey for the people involved: @tracybrusman9538 , my wife and I. The adventure started from this wonderful painting by Tracy, but it created a whole world of events around us!

It was meant to be kept as a "private THANK YOU TRACY video", but after a little while of editing I realized that the positivity bursting out the video and the whole story deserved to be shared. Upon receiving her 'virtual gift', Tracy was on our same wave-length and delighted to share the experience with the community.
Before getting into it, I need to say that, with "Shedding Skin", arrived at home a hand-written note by Tracy, like we haven't seen in recent times. With a beautiful envelope, curated in detail, and a funny and warm message. It felt like an embrace to both of us. It's as valuable as the painting in itself and it's been glued in a pocket behind the painting frame so we can read it whenever we feel like doing it.
"Shedding Skin", is a new bright name, as she started painting it differently, but this is Tracy's story to tell, so please check her upload description on her channel to read what she felt like saying in the matter!
Shedding skin is a way to start anew, to fly high.
Our part of the story, shared with her, is a tale of TRUST, FRIENDSHIP, CONNECTION and a WHOLE SET OF "RANDOM" events that led to the results you can see in the video.
As an appetizer let's start from the song that I've came up as a soundtrack: surprisingly fitting in her life experience as redwoods have always been part of her life and she has a special connection with #bigsur.
Tracy has been part of my YT journey for a long while, years, and she's became a very relevant one not too long later. The extraordinary sharing of judgmental-free opinions, the mutual comprehension and respect for our set of values, the wittiness and at the same time kindness and delicacy of her character soon captured our attention.
So distant, yet, so similar.
Just yesterday I told her in a private conversation that:
"I look forward to seeing if anyone else gets inspired by the purity of our feelings, smiles, and actions. I believe in people, and I really think that good energy is multiplicative as the bad one. This video and the whole story of Shedding Skin are a strong wave of optimistic vision showcasing that every moment is right to start anew. I love this concept."
There's positive everywhere if you want to see it and that positivity can be multiplied and shared, in order to create an avalanche effect to affect even more people. Each time we see that painting on our dining room wall, we feel compelled to share more of ourselves and dive deeper into life's extraordinary journey.
It's not about friends exchanging gifts across the ocean. Much more, it's about the process of people mutually choosing to share parts of their lives one with the other, part of their hopes/dashed dreams, and most importantly: part of their journey. All out of trust, friendship, good heart and willingness to push the other farther in his/her growth as a human being.
Enough with the words, I've written my usual novel, I hope I didn't bore you. Be aware that I value quality over quantity, so even if only a person reads it then the time I took for this description has been made worthwhile.
This is the last upload until after Easter (except if I feel like recording some shorts), the holidays are meant for family and RL binge-eating chocolate (😂). Also, I've fallen behind with most of you and I'd like to spend some of my spare time watching what's new.

It's such an honor knowing this painting has finally ended up with you "beautiful souls!" It also gives me great comfort and joy knowing "Shedding Skin" will now be surrounded by lots of love and the aromas of pasta and olive oil! It dosen't get any better than that! (Oh..and pizza "but only sometimes" because I know Claudio, you like to stay lean and fit! (unfortunately, as you know pizza makes my eyes puffy) Thank you both for being instrumental on my journey of learning to "Let go" while overcoming my superstitions around the "yuck" in the process of shedding some skin; you helped me to see the light! What a journey it's been..nine months of back & forth emails, the waiting (LOL) the special little videos on the updates that you would send me (always made my day and put a big smile on my face) and our wild synchronicities (the song), connection and the energies that would beautifully come through; so much fun and oh So special!! "Shedding Skin" is proudly displayed on the wall that holds the most intimate space in our house, surrounded by ancestors, a portrait of us drawn almost a decade ago, a painting of a family house in the countryside, and many other dear memories.❤
Your art is the greatest expression of the light that emerges after darkness, we are so glad that we helped your way to decrypting the painting powerful hidden message: the light that comes after the dark. The story behind that painting is what makes it special, along with its beauty and letting go is always the cure to actually move forward in life. You've been instrumental in our journey as well, in a different way, because you infused in us even more trust in humanity than the amount we already had. We sincerely love the painting, from day one, it tells a story, a true story. And for 9 months, ironically a pregnancy-length, it tells also our story and it will witness our future. 🤩
The honor is all ours, thank you again so much for your gift. It's been appreciated, valued and treasured and we are totally amazed by the fact that you were able to feel our love for you and for the gesture.
Your friendship, and this amazing connection that we kept going for years now, has really no price-tag. The videos were a well deserved special treat, and a "gratitude plan" that we were running to deliver to you this video thank you note.

P.S. again, the association "Claudio = Pizza" is more common than you think. Every living soul that knows me, here or in everyday life, makes that association and knows that I tend to overdo it, so I need to hold back myself ahahahahaha.

A lot of feeling in this Claudio, and how wonderful to get together with Tracy. An overall delight with the sweet vocals, and the input from Tracy herself. This is the kind of video that proves happiness and love can abound in this messy world. It gives us renewed faith that has otherwise recently and for too long a period, shown its head every day.
