He is much more than just a "handsome" man . There are millions of very good-looking men on this planet , but none of them has the charm David was blessed with . There's nothing special about being born with a beautiful face : the point is to supply your physical beauty with that special inner charm which shines from the inside . I've seen many gorgeous lads who did nothing to me : their beauty was "empty" . David , on other side , is incredibly charming , intelligent , ultra-talented and simply unusual , and as an addition to that - he had an amazing voice which can melt any female ( and not only ) heart and an unbelievable personal style , and all those things made him into what he really was : a unique , ethereal gentleman who was so much more than just a nice body and a cute face . Another thing that amazes me about David is the fact that he always looked great no matter what he wore and what style he choose at the moment . He looked great with a short hair , with a long hair , with or without facial hair . Most men can only look good a certain way , so making any changes in their looks would ruin their appearance . David looked great no matter what . He remained stunning until the very end of his life . I simply have no explanation to how somebody can be so perfect .
The way he moves his beautiful hands just kills me. Better not to mention when he flushes, a man so charming and brilliant who flushes during the interview, my God is there anything more sexy than that? I will love you till I die, David.
Is that some kind of signing towards the reporter? Because he does this with his hands and then stops, and the reporter says 'yes...' and David nods up to him and gives him a smile, and then they go on with the interview. I don't know anything about that, it just made me wonder if there was something behind that. Maybe I'm reading too much into it because I find him so attractive
He looked AMAZING with a blonde hair . Yes , he looked good with pretty much any colour , and at any age . But 1983 period was the prime of his beauty . And am I the only one who's crazy with the way he bites his lips ?
Le Poisson Masqué Me too ! His natural and slightly imperfect teeth fitted him perfectly and made him so much more outstanding . Shame he decided to "fix" his teeth to those way too white , way too straight and way too "Hollywood-esque" ones :-( Don't get me wrong : I'm all for taking care of your teeth and hygiene , but I dislike it when people go and change things about their looks which actually fitted them perfectly . David's natural teeth were fine , nothing was wrong with them . So why fixing something that never was broken ? ;-)
THIS MOVIE WAS SO UNUSUAL AND INFORMATIVE. David BOWIE was so good in it.! Even though he was not the star of Mr.Lawrence he stole the show. All the a tors did a good job of acting. There was such a contrast between East and West.
God he’s such a man... an incredible one at that, an artist in so many ways. Genuine and empathetic from what I’ve seen from the million interviews I’ve watched.
I THI K WE ARE VERYIMPRESSED WITH DAVID BOWIE. I FEEL LIKE I KNEW HIM AND HIS WAS of doing things. I think he was nervous doing interviews. That's probably the reason he BIT his lips.! So handsome.
I love how patient he is here. Having live translation from the interviewer might jar me a bit, not to the point where I'd be impatient or rude, especially since I can speak French, but not Bowie. An absolute gentleman always, as far as I can tell.
This man is BEAUTIFUL but when I see these cigarettes I get so pissed off because they killed him!! Frick! I always hated it! I knew he would die early. I guess I would have to say he lived ten more years than I thought he would. His heart attack didn't take him. But it could have. Modern medicine is AMAZING. When I watch tv shows with emergency room traumas I am always just so much in awe of how many fast decisions the main doc in charge must make, delegate to the nurses while he himself plans out how to save the person, and he is also usually the one doing compressions and other lifesaving maneuvers while telling everyone else what to do. Also, when the patient doesn't react well to one of the medications they have to call out other alternate meds and then if that doesn't work, another and so on. I'm always in disbelief about how they save lives. Thanks doc for saving our Bowie from his heart attack. We all know the cancer was terminal. Is anyone else completely upset by his last vid
Agree. Every time I see pics with his with a cigarette or vids it upsets me greatly. He gave up drink and drugs. Should have given up cigs. I've read he did latterly but too late. I know many people who have or had cancer who smoked. This makes it even sadder. You say his last vid? Was this his last?
Actually cancer of the stomach or liver that was the killer. It was the alcohol that killed him. It caused his liver to become diseased forcing him to abstain from drinking, an alcoholic, together with his cocaine usage. All he ingested for 2 years was milk no real food, which finally caught up with him. Unfortunately when found and it was caught too late and all he could do was prepare to die. He will live forever in the memories he left behind. A tragic loss in so many areas but at least we had the privilege of being able to experience this great and beautiful man.
I am thoroughly beside myself. I would have talked to him and hung out with him wherever he wanted to hang out because he was such an amazing person, but yes, the cigarettes piss me off too. I quit almost 11 years ago and I'm glad I quit too. I just got through crying at work cause I missed him and got angry at him for smoking and stuff. But I can't talk because I smoked during some of the same years that he did. I thought he quit the last 10 years or so. And he drank too so I thought it was liver cancer, not lung cancer. Either way, I miss him and Iwish he hadn't done that.
Oh boy, the constant French translation of the interviewer absolutely sucks! David hadn't the chance to complete one sentence without beeing interrupted! For me it's a real shame and quite impolite to David! It would have been a great interview if it had been presented in English ONLY!
+Andrew Mann Yes he was indeed. ...and yes, he is and will be missed so badly 'til the end of days... I so much love his voice..could listen to him 24 hours a day, no matter what he's talking about..I guess I watched almost every interview with him which is available on the internet since he's gone..several more than once..it sounds strange maybe, but in certain moments it seems to me that he's still alive...I know it's just an illusion...I guess his passing is so hard to believe for me that I still can't imagine that we've only left those videos to look at him and listen to his wonderful voice...but well, I thank God that we have them at least.
+Maiden82 Totally agree. I said in another thread that yes, he’s left us physically, but musically, spiritually, emotionally - in those ways, he’s not going anywhere. Will always be part of my life, and yours too, I’m sure. And of course, he inspired countless others, who are still producing great work thanks party to his influence. And when we feel sad at his passing, we can take comfort from the fact that his suffering is now over.
+Andrew Mann ..yes, he will always be in our hearts...and his extraordinary wonderful legacy will stand the test of time. I'm sure that he's in a better place now..that he is free.....and that comforts me in some way..
NOBODY LOOKED HOT IN THE 70s OR 80s...OR 90s for that matter- EXCEPT for him- gorgeous ALWAYS. Yum. Bet that’s what that interviewer is saying when he gets lost in translation...THAT and probably how much he’d like to bone him too😍Can’t say I wouldn’t have most likely questioned my own sexuality myself had I been a man and face to face with him.😳
David Bowie is the most gorgeous human being on earth...
oui!

Yes, you may be right.
Bowie was such a pro, though. Didn't blink an eye, did he?
Much missed.
Goodbye Spaceboy. Thanks for everything.
+Andrew Mann
in fact, in a couple of places, Bowie pauses half way through his own sentences so that the translator guy has an easier job :-)
