Me to, turtles are my favorite animal and turtle defense 🐢 is a cool concept to me and the way I use him he may not win all the time but he gets really close.
LeonClaw is also the bey I gravitated towards in Beyblade X, because: 1. My first beyblade was Counter Leone, so it has a bit of nostalgia factor from being a new metallic Lion bey. 2. It was released in the month of my birthday, October 3. It's stock combo kinda follows the counter attack strategy, and that's pretty much my favorite tech in all of Beyblade 4. My native language is spanish and "Leon" is written almost the same as the spanish word for lion "León" 5. I also find King Manju a really likable and cool character
It's always good to enjoy what you enjoy because doing so makes you want to keep doing it! And hey, typical format for X is 3on3, so there are definitely ways to use a non-meta pick and do well within the context that there's two other beys that cover Claw's weaknesses. There is no one size fits all bey, so making a well-rounded deck is paramount, and Claw can definitely be an option as one of your three. I think it's cool that people have adopted "signature beys" that they want to use no matter what. I've recently got Aero Pegasus, and that's going to be mine. I plan to have it in my deck for the entirety of X's run. But I'm going to keep an eye out for future ratchets and bits in order to create the next evolution; what I have on it now is like, Dragoon S, to put it into plastic gen terms. So I'm curious to see what the final form of Peggy looks like at the end of X's lifespan when it's Dragoon GT. 😅
Really like your passion for LeonClaw. It really is a cool Blade. Normally I would have just 1 favorite, But since X has a 3 bey team, I am waiting to see what my team will be. For me, KnightShield and BlackShell (so far). You asked why and it's because I feel like defense resonates on a personal level. I want to be someone who can be there for my family and friends whenever I can and "Protect" them in whatever form that may take. So I have always been drawn to defense types(even if we use them in a more attack orientated format right now for X). Plus green is my favorite color so a green defense bey called KnightShield was a no brainer lol. I have been waiting patiently for more beys to see what else I get drawn to and that finally came in the form of BlackShell. Now I'm just waiting for the third bey that's meant to join my team in the future. Hope that's not too lame. Hope you make a video showing us your dream team soon and unless I forgot a previous tournament video, still rooting for your tournament win with LeonClaw. Can't wait!
personally Phoenix Wing is my #1! I had no idea just how high tier it'd be when it was revealed but the design is just so sick, and the paint coming off with use just makes it so much better. It kind of reminds me of that "to be loved is to be changed" meme lol Similarly with GP; when I saw that bit for the first time I thought "I have to put this on PW no matter what!" and since then it's been a blast practicing with that combo and seeing how I can improve with it 😁
I actually imagine myself as a character in the anime using a navy blue, dark red and black Leon claw boy, with a different motif in the same scenario as strike hawk with the combo 5-70 and unite.
Shark edge is my favorite blade rn in general, mainly it being a meta blade but also somewhat of an underdog compared to other attackers like PW and DB (or even TB). What also made me like using it so much was ur video on the SE 9-60 Unite combo and using it for myself (I now use 5-60 on it cuz some of the ratchet's tabs align with the blades on SE, boosting it's weight & attack)
My favorite is Viper Tail, and I made it work both as a Stamina and as an Attack type bey. It doesn't have a really high winrate, but it surprises my opponents whenever it wins (and it wins flashily lmao). Not to mention that _all_ of its colorways look awesome, too!
@@luqmuhmmad2616 really? I'd take it more defense than stam cuz of the blade shape. I too am a fellow Viper enjoyer but a sleeper stamina blade to me is wyvern (at least b4 rod came out).
@@ghasmage8819 yup. Wyvern is majorly slept on now. It’s my main stamina bey and it’s won every battle except against rod. I can see viper for defense I might try it.
So I picked up BBX when I saw Weiss Tiger. I found out that it's a BBX version of Drigger. The reason I picked it up was because my childhood friend used to play Beyblades with me when we were in elementary school. His favorite being Drigger, he has since passed away and so in a way to remember my childhood fun and to honor his memory I have stuck with it, I refuse to let it go from my deck unless there's a revamp on it in the UX/CX era. But yeah. RIP Tanner.
I really like Leon Claw so far as the hasbro releases. Drigger was my favorite in the plastic gen, but hasbro doesn't have weiss yet, will definitely be running leon crest and weis when they come out. Lions are my favorite animal and drigger was my favorite plastic bey. Had an unbeatable combo with the drigger V2 blade back in the day.
Some of my favorite X-beys are Viper Tail (mainly because I like snakes), Shark Edge and Leon Crest, my favorite combos for each bey: Viper 5-60 High Taper/Rush, Shark Edge (stock, so far) and Crest 7-60 Hexa/Disc Ball/Point or GP/Orb
Glad to see you using Leon claw. I like the blade as well and anytime someone tells me that something is not as good, I take it as a personal challenge to try to win with it.
Glad to see you using Leon claw. I like the blade as well and anytime someone tells me that something is not as good, I take it as a personal challenge to try to win with it. I like the off meta stuff.
I'm a huge Driger fan, so I do like Weiss Tiger. But lately, I've been gravitating towards Hell Scythe. I think it's because I see myself like Bird. I'm not a great blader (at least for a 40 year old), but I've enjoyed the game since it first came out. If I could enter a tournament, I would have Driger, Tiger, and Scythe.
I was aware of Beyblade X for a while but seeing King vs Ishiyama and then Burn brought back my excitement for Beyblade. I loved Lee from white tigers but alot bakuten side characters fell off after their introduction but king has that aura regret defeat that made Leon claw a must have for me.
Crazy how I just got mine today, and I opened UA-cam to find this video, lol. I'm partial to Wizard Arrow and Wizard Rod. Seeing Wizard Arrow on Amazon a few weeks ago is what brought me back into Beyblade (I grew up with the Plastic gen). After watching the anime, I've grown to like Hell's Scythe and Hell's Chain as well.
DranBuster was the first Beyblade I bought on my trip to Japan. I didn't even know what Beyblade X was at the time, I stopped at Metal Fusion. It had a dragon so I picked it. It seems to perform alright for now, but really trying to make it work. I know it is a meta pick, but its got that high risk high reward going for it. But I love the way it looks.
I’m massively obsessed with Leon crest so I feel ya, counter Leone was my main way back when ,now I need crimsoncustoms paint job on one and I’ll be the happiest goober alive 😂
You’ve met my BX-00 SharkEdge. Deep Dark Blue, or D.D.B. That bey has single handedly clutched up in moments where I critically needed it more times than any bey I own. We’re gonna be on a RAMPAGE in the future, and you’ve only caught a GLIMPSE of that!
My mains are KnightLance 3-60 GearBall and CobaltDragoon 5-70 Tapered. I recently made stickers for them. I named KnightLance "Iron Treads" and CobaltDragoon "BevenomGlue" or "Glue Poipole". My Poipole is shiny, and I'm planning on evolving poipole with Cobalt CX 7-60 Rush.
So far my favorite bey is steel samurai; the geometric look and the colors of the stock combo really drew me in. And I definitely agree on wizard rod looking good-when I first got into X, I looked at a list of all the released beys to pick out some to get, and the ring of magatama that form the metal edge really stood out to me.
The problem with any Meta pick is that everyone will study it and find its weakness, and a Meta only stays until its weaknesses have been exploited enough. If a meta stays for too long it may be a sign of an unhealthy game design choice, community mindset, or a mix of both. The more people are looking at a strategy the more people will learn how to pick it apart. A Rogue Strategy inherently has the information advantage: it is usually impossible to study every possible strategy for every situation, so your opponent may not know how to counter your Build. It then boils down to whether or not the strengths of your build plus the information advantage are enough to tip the odds your way. Edit: So far, I like Keel Shark because it looks cool and because it's so hyper - aggressive that it sometimes feels like a coin flip about who will win due to the sheer white - knuckle aggression it has.
I've been hearing a ton of good stuff about Beyblade X, and I've been thinking about finally giving it a try. I saw some pictures of Gale Wyvern, and I love its design - but Keel Shark is a close second. I'm stoked to get into X, and I think Wyvern's going to be the mainstay of my loadout... with an honorable mention to the Shark.
Leon Crest has too be my favorite bey right now. Its already really good but it always feels like its one bit away from being an insane defensive wall as of right now been running it on 9-60P and its solid.
For me, I mainly use viper-tail on 5-70 point. It is pretty much a combo created specifically for my aggressive balance type blading style. I also have an odd love for rhino horn though. Once in a 3 on 3 battle with a friend, I actually ended up losing every match except for the ones that I used rhino for. He just couldn’t beat me with stock rhino, not even once.
This is how I feel with talon ptera. I love Dinos, so my top 3 beys are roar Tyranno, Tyranno beat, and talon ptera. Ptera however can really compete with those 2 tho. But I still love using it
For me it's weiss tiger. May not be meta but I really love the blade design. A slightly bigger diameter in a UX revision would make it a lot stronger. Fingers crossed they do a UX version. I saw leon claw when i got in but a week later leon crest came out oh boy did it remind me of fang leone with that plastic bottom half. Just had to have it. So far these are my only x beys. Got ldrago on the way full set. I'm super excited to see storm pegasus in the future and I'm hoping to see my favorite metal saga bey Rock Leone come back
My favourite X beys are the hells beys. Hellscythe was my first X bey and I got it right after this new line started to be sold in Japan. However, Hellschain might be my favourite one aesthetically, even though I only got it after the Hasbro release. The skull theme with the chain shaped blade is just perfect.
Hellscythe is my default testing bey for new releases as well, super balanced and hits hard, also has the shape of 1st Deathscyther which is a band bey during it's time.
@@akiyamato3299 yeah. Hellscythe is crazy good. Even though it was one of the first starter releases, it still manages to be relevant in the current meta. I'll have a deck with it and chain for as long as I can.
Once WhaleWave comes out, we need to see LeonClaw on Elevate so that the gimmick of the claws from the Blade can consistently work (maybe). I’m glad that we get to see more of King in season 2 and it would be awesome if the rest of Team Zooganic would get their UX Variants as well or maybe they could use different beys like Croc and Kong which would also be cool.
While my "main" combo is SharkEdge on 9-60 and whatever bit I feel like, since it's purple, I have grown extremely close to Tusk Mammoth, or MammoTusk as I call it since I prefer TT naming. I've already found out that putting MammoTusk on a defense build is a significant improvement to it, I just need an official High Needle to put on it for testing.
"It looks cool" might sound like a dumb reason to main a Beyblade but I think it's the best reason to main one. I'm the same with Shinobi Shadow. It has a lot of problems that prevent it from being a good Beyblade but I love the parry gimmick and the ninja motif. It being weak demands I'm more aware of what I'm doing, learn the game and even the physics behind it, and be more strategic. Right now I'm still looking for all the parts I'll need to make the blade work but I have a good theory of what I'm going for and once I have them that combo has a guaranteed spot on my tournament deck.
My favorite beyblade is hells scythe I’ve always gravitated toward it and I’ve been devoted to getting every bey in the hells line but currently I have all 3
Weiss Tiger 7-60 P, LeonClaw 5-60 G, Knight Sheild 5-70 H. Placed 8th out of 23. Ppl ask me why I use them, well I found what works for me and a way to launch them❤
I am a big Iron Man fan, so I wanted to get the two pack at my local Walmart. I think that with the right parts, the blade can be useful. I want to make it my Leon Claw/Claw Leon. I also have a thing for Phoenix Feather.
See, i have a few favourites for x... i love using dransword, drandagger and dranbuster in their stock forms as i love kamen x and how much of a chaotic gremlin he is.. i love using cobaltdragoon and want to find myself a good attack combo for it, and in terms of bringing out potential, it's gotta be knife shinobi, i have spent some time on a combo for it and found 9-60 and hexa to be a surprising combo that no one sees coming. (Side note, i also like wizardrod and got it on 9-60 and disc ball but it's not in my top 5 sadly)
While initially I wanted to main Weiss Tiger, the more I played the game the more I gravitated towards Shark Edge (the original color one), and my blue Phoenix Wing is currently the close second. Right now I run them on Shark Edge 2-60 Unite, Phoenix Wing 3-60 Cyclone
I can respect this video as someone who pretty much exclusively uses defense beys with Shield Knight as main. I know that people will probably hate to see this, but I think that Shinobi Shadow is arguably one of the most enjoyable beys to use because of the shock value when it can actually pull off a parry. I get that it's considered trash compared to the meta, but let's be honest... Meta is boring and takes much less skill compared to using picks that you actually enjoy
Favorite hasbro beyblade x is Tranno cause I love T. rex and it blue fav takra tomy beyblade x probably schythe ❤️❤️🔥🔥cause it epic 😊😊. Fav character multi 😮😊😂
my favorite X bey is wyvern gale. i love the look of the bey, but it’s not all that in terms of battles. hope we get a new version of it like leon/Phoenix lol
I think it genuinely sucks that people are only picking the meta beys. I feel like that makes the game have less personalisation and less unique personality to It. I remember in the OG days of the first ever series me and my friends where about 13 and we gravitated towards whichever bey was the coolest to us from bit beast to colour and shape to any gimmicks or whatever. Then most of the time we customised them and even added parts that wouldnt be seen at all as tournament legal today 😂. One of my friends even melted metal into the grooves of the base part of his Beyblade to make it heavier and add stamina. I think if we all start using soar phoenix and roar tyrano the whole time the game will be boring
If you're going to tackle the topic of maining rogues I'd love to see that play out in collaboration with the Cowl main that is Blader03. You know who I mean even though I've not written that out in the correct formatting I'm sure.
I would say it's low mid. I usually run it on 560 and Taper and that seemed to help it out. Tbh I hate when people say it's trash though. Like I've made comp combos for everything, EVERYTHING! And they are going to say it belongs w Shinobi Shadow and Knife Shinobi!? I admit I prefer Weiss Tiger. But man Leon Claw is waaaaaay better than F Tier.
@@nizumablader I would only because my favorite defense type, Sphinx Cowl, is there even tho in my subjective opinion it's a S Tier I recognize some beys are hard to pick up for most people. Heck I'd argue tiers are usually determined by simply weight and ease of use. Personally though I think anyone who says that Leon Claw is F Tier is genuinely crazy. It's very useful and I've never had any real trouble using it.
Ami también me gusta garra de león y tampoco pienso que sea mal bey me molesta que lo consideren de los más bajos y también lo utilizo para ganar y demostrar que es un muy buen bey
At my previous tournament (It was a stock tournament) one of my community members used Steel Samurai which is a LeonClaw mold and almost made top 10 with it. He got 9th which was really good so yeah. Just wanted to share that feedback. Also side note... Are you going to going to upgrade this series with LeonCrest or keep it LeonClaw throughout the entire series?
I haven’t decided yet. I think I’ll have a hard time removing LeonClaw from my deck but I might add another rogue pick that I think it under appreciated.
I really like all of the Hells Beys. I'm only used hells hammer but I need to find a better combo first. And Bird/Robin I don't like his character But I like his Style and all of us have lose.
Man, just feels like TT did leon series dirty Leon series need more love ❤ Just hope the fix LClaw mold and make it more balance or release heavier version like DS coro-coro
Here is a message to all bladers it is not the bey that's the problem it's the blader you use the beys and i performs depending on how you launch so no bey is weak or strong it is you who make the bey itself strong don't blame your bey blame the blader who used it
I like Cobalt Dragoon, i've always loved the first left spin dragon bey in every generation Dragoon, L Drago, Longinus, and even though it has an imbalance it hits hard and i've gotten luck using the recent Glide bit findings
LeonClaw to you is what BlackShell is to me. No matter how far X evolves BlackShell or it’s upgrade will remain in my deck permanently
Hell yeah! Shell is my fav too!
Me to, turtles are my favorite animal and turtle defense 🐢 is a cool concept to me and the way I use him he may not win all the time but he gets really close.

I've already found out that putting MammoTusk on a defense build is a significant improvement to it, I just need an official High Needle to put on it for testing.
My face lit up when I heard talon ptera was good
Weiss Tiger. Making up for the battles I couldn't have with Driger because they were all gone when my parents took me to Walmart all those years ago
My favorite beyblade is hells scythe I’ve always gravitated toward it and I’ve been devoted to getting every bey in the hells line but currently I have all 3
Dran buster❤
Snake eye FK FTW
Weiss Tiger 7-60 P, LeonClaw 5-60 G, Knight Sheild 5-70 H. Placed 8th out of 23. Ppl ask me why I use them, well I found what works for me and a way to launch them❤
Weiss Tiger 7-60 Point GANG!!!!!!
I am a big Iron Man fan, so I wanted to get the two pack at my local Walmart. I think that with the right parts, the blade can be useful. I want to make it my Leon Claw/Claw Leon. I also have a thing for Phoenix Feather.
Leon claw is one of my favorite beyblades to as much as I like Phoenix wing and shark edge those are my other two favorite beyblades from Beyblade x
Aero Pegasus for me reminds me of ginga! Metal fight all the way
While initially I wanted to main Weiss Tiger, the more I played the game the more I gravitated towards Shark Edge (the original color one), and my blue Phoenix Wing is currently the close second. Right now I run them on Shark Edge 2-60 Unite, Phoenix Wing 3-60 Cyclone
I like Leon claw’s design and concept but weight is a bit disappointing. Defo not bottom tier. B/C tier
Actually my fav bey atm I would say is sting unicorn.
It was LeonClaw until LeonCrest came out. This is my forever bey.
For sure. Definitely going to collab at some point.
I wish Claw had more weight...
Whale Wave...
My Favorite is btw Tryanno Beat ❤😊 because i like Dinosaurs 😁
Sometimes all the reason you need is that.. its cool
I believe in Steel Samurai Superiority
I really dislike the human bit chip designs. Blackshell is my favorite, but i cant wait to run RH/US/WW as a unihorn deck
I don’t mind them. Reminds me of yugioh.
Its tiger and tyrannobeat for me.Tiger because of Ray and driger. And i have always loved dinosaurs.
Ray is underrated. Driger beys may not sell as well as dranzer or dragoon but I think driger is cooler imo
@@MatthewNoBeyblade I wouldn’t even say low mid
@@nizumablader I would only because my favorite defense type, Sphinx Cowl, is there even tho in my subjective opinion it's a S Tier I recognize some beys are hard to pick up for most people. Heck I'd argue tiers are usually determined by simply weight and ease of use. Personally though I think anyone who says that Leon Claw is F Tier is genuinely crazy. It's very useful and I've never had any real trouble using it.
Weiss Tiger is my go to. Because he is cool looking lol
Weiss is sick
@@nizumablader It is for sure. It’s the only TT bey I’ve bought. I’ve been trying to support hasbro but I couldn’t resist the power of the tiger lol.
§@@My favorite Beyblade is Hells chains because it looks really cool
Same bro, same, also KING IS THE BEST
So Nizuma Blader how bout that Leon claw Vs X Galeon.
I can do that
Meanwhile I’m still trying to FIND THIS PEICE OF SHIT IN STORES! WHY WONT HASBRO REALEASE IT IN STORES AHHHHHHH
Very Nice Video! 😊😁
Ami también me gusta garra de león y tampoco pienso que sea mal bey me molesta que lo consideren de los más bajos y también lo utilizo para ganar y demostrar que es un muy buen bey
I’m just like u Fr but I like and use the hells beys
I have been unable to find tournements; is there a website or something for that?
Wbo
At my previous tournament (It was a stock tournament) one of my community members used Steel Samurai which is a LeonClaw mold and almost made top 10 with it. He got 9th which was really good so yeah. Just wanted to share that feedback. Also side note... Are you going to going to upgrade this series with LeonCrest or keep it LeonClaw throughout the entire series?
@@Andy-Plays I’ll be adding crest to the deck in addition to claw
need UX viper 😔
Awesome ❤❤❤❤
What about Crest?
Already in the deck. Not replacing claw though.
what will happen when u finaly do win a tournament?
I haven’t decided yet. I think I’ll have a hard time removing LeonClaw from my deck but I might add another rogue pick that I think it under appreciated.
@@nizumablader u can use leon evolutions i guess
My copium is still knight lance lololol
I don’t have a particular favourite bey, I like the “reimagined” x version of the bladebreaker beys, just waiting on the dranzer
cats
I really like all of the Hells Beys. I'm only used hells hammer but I need to find a better combo first.
And Bird/Robin I don't like his character But I like his Style and all of us have lose.
Man, just feels like TT did leon series dirty
Leon series need more love ❤
Just hope the fix LClaw mold and make it more balance or release heavier version like DS coro-coro
Here is a message to all bladers it is not the bey that's the problem it's the blader you use the beys and i performs depending on how you launch so no bey is weak or strong it is you who make the bey itself strong don't blame your bey blame the blader who used it
yes indeed
no one likes King's teamates lol
I’m glad we have someone who speaks for the entirety of the fan base.
@@nizumablader no problem lol
leon claw channel - very mid
?
I like Cobalt Dragoon, i've always loved the first left spin dragon bey in every generation Dragoon, L Drago, Longinus, and even though it has an imbalance it hits hard and i've gotten luck using the recent Glide bit findings
