This thing is the bane of my 9.7 (now 10.0) lineup.
No matter the armor I have they seem to always slice right through while I find myself bouncing on that top plate again and again or killing just the gunner and the commander takes over, just the engine and the spall gets stopped etc.
I aint saying soviets suffer, god knows once you get to 10.7+ they dominate WAY more than they should but this thing genuinely scares me.
i think people just play against russia so much that they memorize all the weakspots, for example one would know driver port, mantlet area, and lower plate are the russian mbts weakspots and they know where to hit like the back of their hand
I'm a russian main (or at least I was when I first started playing) and when I play this thing I feel like I just dominate russian mbts. Your thermals and sights are just so superior, you can almost always get the first shot off.

Yeah, the Sweden tree is fun, and it is really accessible at low tier with the early sabot round, but it has a couple of serious BR holes where you have a real half-assed line-up. The Finnish stuff helped a bit, but you still struggle at a couple of places. Def recommend new players start with a major nation just to make line-ups easier to fill out.
that t34 carried my lineup for longer than id like to admit.
major nation however is very grindy. will take you long time to get to the top tier if thats your goal as a new player
The main drawback of Sweden is that like Italy they usually team up with German players, I tried to play it and I suffered a lot on 2.0-3.0 especially with default mods and low level crew it's still hard for me to find the motivation to continue and pass 4.0 after unlocking pvkv II 😂
are sabot rounds even that good for new players?, they don't do that much dmg and you need to aim more carefully new players don't do that s
@@tommasopisapia7464 you know what i was going to defend the tree but you just pointed out the problem that i don't have so I will now agree with you, and also point out with most of the vehicles being no armor end up easily destroyed with aphe+ shots preety easily
The CV is the most OP premium tank in the store. It’s thermals can see through smoke and it’s so fast and nearly unkillable with a single shot. Nasty lil tank.
I actually just finished my mandatory military service in Switzerland and i am a gunner on the CV9030 CH and i absolutely love this vehicle so i enjoy every content with a CV90 tank. And also great content, i like it very much

Idk how people complain about camping. Everyone has there own play style.
The way you handled the “4 second leopard” situation-shooting on the Phly- ( get it! Pretty cheeky) was awesome!
The funny thing is this tank is good enough to take into your 11.7 lineup as well. 5 second reload with enough pen to still go through any weak spot frontally. Fast, great thermals, spotting, etc. This tank is the best premium tank in my opinion.

@@scifiordie Turms is crap, because you have teams full of people who have no idea what they are doing, who bought that tank because they heard "Russian bias". Teams that leave after 1 death.
CV90105 is fast enough to take any BS position on the map and take you out before you even realize where it's coming from.

i highly recommend taking like 5 HESH with you, you can lob them over hills and get extremly cheeky kills, killed 4 radkampfwagens that way on sinai. You just laser the hill infront of their antennas and then you aim just a little above and get a nice kill.

Phly, sight correction, best sights in the game are actually in Japan, the STA-1 and STA-2 have 16x zoom and a wider FOV

Day 2: Asking Phly to revisit the XA-38 premium for America. It was knocked down to 3.7 and it completely dominates the tier. A 75mm with 4 500lb bombs in 3 drops. B-29 engines to get out fast and turrets with 360 degree coverage. Please try it out.

I love this tank. It’s so fun to use. But I play horribly with it. No matter what hits me, or where it hits me; it always takes out the entire crew. It could be a bog-standard AP round hitting the front sprocket broadside… and it still somehow manages to fragment and take out the entire crew.
These things are the bane of my existence at 10.0 in my Chally DS.

7:25 you really cant blame that player, I have lost many battles in last few days because half of enemy team is in captured vehicles which have few steel panels just glued to the front so usual places dont work anymore

I usually take 16 rounds of ammo cause it only stores in the turret so if you back out with the rear first people shoot and not take any damage so you back out more and shoot them
The turret stores 10 rounds not 16. It has 3 racks, each rack with 10 rounds each

I still remember when they were taking away the old version of this one; I really liked the visuals of the old turret with all those strange corners and shapes and already then it was good vehicle. UA-cam was going all doom and gloom how the 4s reload will be off-set by its lower power/weight ratio and most likely kill the tank.

Lucky for you, another tank in game exists with that exact same turret, it's in the French tree.

I love how people complain about camping in war thunder but it's a legit strat in my book. And taking a look at history it's not called camping it's called an ambush and it's something that every country did at some point.
Not when what they "ambush" is just the fkinh spawn point
@@AllMightyKingBowser yes spawn camping sucks but If it's early game it's usually an LT or light armored MT with makes them very easy to take out. The way that not many people understand is that a team that camps a flank is the team that wins, so that's what I do I flank and do counter flanking I also use baiting strategies to lure kills to me also read who killed you in the battle log then look how many kills they have this can prevent you from being counter flanked. When you play you can't be brain dead objective pushers these teams loose often. The whole team has to watch corners while 2/3 of the team play the objective and the other 1/3 plays the enemy flank.
Still never got the Merkava mk4b/m video that you said you were going to release. The thunderbolt ruined everything.
