- The MK Party has reportedly failed to respond to calls and messages from the ANC, to engage with the party on a coalition government.
ANC officials and a coalition negotiating team have been meeting with different political formations in search of partners to form a government.
The ANC has met with other parties, who are predominantly of the same ideology.

Mr. Zuma is a force to be reckon with as we speak, anyone who looks down at him and the support garnered in a short space of time speaks volumes. It is a clear sign of how unresolved internal party politics can cause a big retrogression of the gains of freedom. The best option now would be for Mr. Ramaphosa to withdraw as the presidential candidate to allow the re-unification with the MK party. Equally so Mr. Zuma should step aside as the presidential candidate to unite the people. Both man can hold talks of reconciliation behind close doors while in the forefront they play a pivotal role to unify their people. Credit would be given to both of them for putting the people first above themselves through a humble action of swallowing the pride and ego in putting South Africa first.

As a black American l am dumbfounded as to why Africans can't get past self sabotage. Why would you vote for your oppressors the white DA party? The world view you as inferior and you prove their point. Weak puppets and domination rules the day. JULIUS MALEMA is a strong intelligent, brave leader, WHY wasn't he voted in with a majority? ANC and MK will find each other. The suggestion that this is disastarous is racist and insulting to MK ANC and those that voted for them. Peddling that only DA can make the country work is offensive since their voters have had the last 30 years better than the voters of MK and ANC and they largely represent voters that made no sacrifice for nor that paid any price for 1994.

ANC coalition with the DA its practically a non-starter under any prevailing political circumstance. After a hard won freedom against apartheid there shouldn't any room for selling the country back to white people under whatever formation. ANC, MK, EFF and IPF must consider with the strongest conviction of their conscious self correction by using the opportunity to unite and reconcile. Each of the party leader would emerge as the bigger winner for the people of South Africa and forever they will be remembered for as selfless individuals with great pride. These four parties people are from the same constituency and are only divided by the differences of their leaders. They all share the same DNA despite the challenges experienced as result of leadership discomfort over the years.

@@samuelkandjii387 why don’t you go live in Zimbabwe or Venezuela if you want a country that was run into the ground by people who think the same way as you. There are many countries like that. But there is only one South Africa and most of us want to continue being the best country on the African continent and that means to build a country together and stop worrying about race.
