  • The Dallas Cowboys-Philadelphia Eagles rivalry continues to brew. Micah Parsons went on Buffalo Bills LB Von Miller's Podcast, 'The VonCast,' and was asked whether Jalen Hurts' MVP candidacy is due to himself or the team. Miller gave credit to both, but Parsons then said: 'It’s system and team.' He then continued, saying quote: 'I’m not trying to make no enemies. I just love the game so much, and I understand it so much, that when things are off, I just can’t hold it in. I’ve almost got to say something.' The NFC East rivals face each other on Christmas Eve. Emmanuel Acho, Joy Taylor, David Helman and James Jones debate whether Parsons' comments were fair or foul.

1000% correct. Other than Josh Allen making the jump he did between his 2nd and 3nd year, I can't recall any other QB in the last 40 years that has made the kind of massive strides to all parts of his game in one off-season like Hurts has done. Oh, and Josh Allen got Stefon Diggs the year he made his jump and nobody has ever seemed discount Allen's credentials as a MVP candidate because of that.

We giving Hurts all this credit for how good the team is when the Eagles defense is probably better than their offense. Not to mention they have the best O line in the NFL.

The Eagles are about the same as the 49ers except they have a better O line and a worse run defense.

I didn’t hear anyone talking about the Eagles weapons or OLine last year now that we got AJ we have the best weapons ever. Folks trashed Jalen when he got drafted, trashed him when atepped in those 4 games to replace Wentz, trashed his 1st year as the team starter fulltime and now his 2nd year as a starter where he improved tremendously as a passer, makes plays galore with his arms and legs and his teamis #1 inthe entire NFL thus far. I dont get the constant goal post movements. What did Jalen do to these folks? 😂 Jalen is doing his job and then some. He appreciates and respects gis entire team, he leaves it all out on the field, he benefits from the team and the team and organization is benefitting from him as well. The NFL is in great hands with the young QBs thats in the league now. Im trying to remember the last time they gave a winning young humble mature leader of a QB this much hate. Oh well. One of the best olines in football, one of the best rbs and wrs and a stacked defense equates for an easier job for the qb. Im sure you will play stupid and deny but its facts. Dak did the same thing in 2016 with a stacked team ending 13-3 and won rookie of the year and was in the running for mvp. 104.9 QBR with 3,667 yards, 23 touchdowns and 4 interceptions in 16 games...VERY similar to hurts 3157 with 22 tds and 3 interceptions through 14 games.

Hurts deserves his flowers and the the Eagles are legit! So speak your mind but back it up with consistency!
