I’m just now figuring it out why the Chinese dramas use the same exact plot and dialogue over and over again. I think it is a cultural thing. They are used to the Chinese operas from the past which were watched over and over again. Humans like the familiar, but I think the international audiences will not watch these excessively repetitive dramas. I, for one, am amazed that the Chinese screenwriters don’t come up with original material. Screaming women, people getting routinely slapped, the “F” word, women being abused, dishonest doctors, greedy hateful parents - it goes on and on! Enough!

Well hell, we had a really good chance of this actually be a fitting ending. But they ruin it. Who wants to see her go back to a hateful abusive egotistical ass??!! Screen writers write for themselves??? Cause they are not satisfying the public!! So many of these stories have good plot lines, exciting climax, but fail miserably with the ending!! The richest guy does not always have to win. The husband does not always have to be forgiven!!

OMG this was really bad, the level of torture, She actually stabs herself several times. It’s horrific!! And she STILL ends up with him. Bad message for women in abuse. There is a gorgeous 2nd ML who actually proposes and wants to defend take care of her. Yet she refuses him for abusive ML!! What’s worse is the dumb dialogue, the way she justifies staying with rapist ML. “Oh maybe I deserve this” “we are forever connected and bound to each other” “I don’t deserve better” “he didn’t mean, he made a mistake” “I can’t live without him” WTF!! 🤬
