  • in this video I try to reduce this noise to acceptable level, and also I show frequency response from low to high in audio range of this module.

    I only get noise when there's no audio playing. When I pause the audio, after about 1-2seconds the noise kicks in. Any idea how I can remove the noise?

    The reports are all accurate. Terrible chip. TPA3116D2 is a much better choice. Even the PAM8403 is better then the PAM8610 for noise. The low volume distortion is very annoying.

      You’re right. 8403 is much more clean than this supposely better chip. There’s a design flow somewhere and I dont understand how some peole reports “clean sound”. It sounds like we have a 4bit audio dac here…

      For my portable applications, I prefer stick to Ti chips, like the TPA3004D2 (2x12w classD) and that one suffers *NO Noise at all* . Unfortunately there is no board lits around. I found these in logitech mm50 portable speaker which i buy used ones for cheap

    I would recommend use 35v 6800μf capacitor at dc power supply to filter out ac components you will get pure dc and it sound really good

    Hey!
    Can somebody tell why pam8610 get reboot when i try to max volume ?

    • @pengendalinasi4530
      @pengendalinasi4530 2 роки тому +2

      That's caused by the protect feature that is embedded in the pam8610, it can be tricked by adding a cooler

      You need 12 volts 2 amp smps or a 12 volts battery for the power supply. Please don't not use transformer based linear power supply.
      Hope it helps.

      @@infinitydominion6498 if you look closely at the PAM8610 there is a option for dc volume control at pin no. 5. This is connected to pin no.4 in most of the amp boards. This makes the IC to function at highest gain setting.
      So if you have great skills in soldering you can control the volume/gain using a single 100K potentiometer. This will help you to suppress the noise as well as gain without using any external volume controls. This way the chip will not reboot.
      Please try it if you can.

      @@infinitydominion6498 no hablo tu idioma pero mas o menos entiendo, usa el traductor de google,
      Eso que te esta sucediendo podria ser por falta de amperaje en la fuente, tiene que ser minimo 12v y 2 amperios, si tienes la versión del pam8610 tal cual como sale en el video agregale un capacitor 2200uf a 25v en la entrada de 12v esto es para que no halla picos a la hora de jalar corriente de la fuente(para que el pam8610 obtenga la corriente de forma mas pausado)
      Y por último aunque digan que el pam8610 puede trabajar con parlantes de 4ohm en verdad funciona mucho mejor con parlantes de 6ohm y 8 ohm, si vas a usar 4ohm colocale un disipador justamente al integrado pam8610 para que no se caliente y agregale un potenciómetro de 50k para que regules el volumen y lo dejes fijo antes de qué se oiga la distorsion
