Watching these highlights, I see a guy who played more on instinct and with a lot more confidence. Since being with the Suns, he seems to be thinking too much and playing timid because of it. He hasn't lost any of this athleticism you see here but shows it off in spurts for whatever reason. To many, they probably think he has lost a step, lol. It's really effort with him and he has to get better at that. Also, in college, they featured him a lot more and fed him the ball in good spots. Now with the Suns, some of these dudes rather pass out for a bad 3 point shot and do so even when they're not making them. Point is, he needs to be featured more in the offense and take more shots than Jae Crowder. He should be the 2nd/3rd leading shot taker on the team every game. Although he can be frustrating to watch, I believe he's on the right path. He's improved leaps and bounds on defense vs. his rookie year. I think people forget big men take longer to develop and in a few years all this noise about him will go away. But, he's also has to bring it each game and has been doing so a lot more recently.
@@josernunya7212 it's interesting you point this out that big men take longer to develop, but what if we moved DA to more of a backup pg for an experiment, I totally agree he's gonna have a big leap for next season and beyond, some reason there's fans impatient with him, don't think we need to rush anybody really young, Ayton is still pretty young, we have veterans like D Book, Crowder , and Paul taking over when needed.
@@josernunya7212 so here's another interesting part, I realize the suns lost alot of centers, we had 5 centers last season , so that might had a huge impact for a different system we have with Ayton, we've since Baynes is gone, Damien Jones and DA are now our only 2 centers, which is mind blowing for me.
@@eterdayclapz5434 I mean sun's are happy with what they got and they are in a fine situation, mavs are in shit storm tho because they couldn't keep luka happy and because they were incompetent (also he has a significantly worse team around him)
I'm a suns fan an while maybe Luka puts up better numbers we needed a center an I wouldn't change the pick we're the best team in basketball and ayton's a huge part of that with book an cp3
Welcome to Portland, Deandre Ayton!

well now that he’ll be more of an focal point I hope he can return to form
We will see he was a good player in college definitely feel like his rolled changed cause he had other stars on his team
Nope, blud dont really want it like that

he didn't
Ok if I make a reaction video with this if I put your like in description?
yeah thats fine
SkyDesigns CBB thanks!
Mr. 20 and 10 his entire career. Gonna be like ZBO when he was in Memphis.
Maybe Suns should play him more power forward then go get a starting center like Poetl or Steven Adam’s
Monty tried that with him and JaVale McGee didn’t work
Devin Booker will finally have some open looks. Ayton will be commanding double teams in no time. Believe that.
i wish you were right
Lol
Yeah I wish lol
@@sunsbasketballreview6307 atleast he made a buzzer beater lmao
@@sunsbasketballreview6307 he is right damn near the whole team tries to guard every time he touches the ball

If Cavs get #1 LBJ winning Championships for the rest of his career
Neil Smith Phoenix, Dallas, Memphis have the best chances in the lottery. He won't make it to Cleveland pick.
hum...
WTF happened to him
Bad coaching and attitude issues
Got paid and checked out
Did the Suns honestly ruin him? He looked WAAAAAAY more fluid in college.....
Well I’m college he did play the power forward and wanted to in nba! Maybe he better at the 4.
Sigh.
