My hopes were crushed when I realized that it wasn’t a mashup with They Might Be Giant’s “Istanbul, Not Constantinople!”
CURSESSSSSS!!!
Still really good, though!
Crap. That’s the only reason I clicked.
Same, my face lit up when I thought it was TMBG...maybe next time?
DAMN IT, this is exactly why I clicked as well!
Same!
Same here!
The music that plays at 3:25 really blends well with metal.
These goofy (personally I don't find them goofy) metallica mashes are some of my all time faves.
This has been played on my radio show over the years, but damn it not enough times !
Bless you for what you have done, and pity those who will never understand the awesomeness.
Love it!
Finally, someone else has determined the origins of metal in Turkish saz!!! "Çok iyi!! 🤘Şerefe🥂
Metal birthed from genocide denial? Sounds dope
@@zachsparrow1217 , I'm referring to the music, not the government.
@@zachsparrow1217 you are mentally ill
@quistunes I mean there's probably some sort of mental illness lurking in this Ole noggin of mine. But, Turkey do be saying it didn't happen. Well....I guess all they say rn is, "please send aid."
@@zachsparrow1217 you write about politics in a music video. This is not the place it looks like just typical butthurt armenian comment.
Absolutely perfect!!!!👌
Wow...This is aweome!!
I dig it ✨
عااااااااالیتر از عاااااااالی......❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
MahsuN and MetallicA.....MahsunicA
Wow
Sounds a bit like System of a Down, right? ^^
Music to listen to while steamrolling the Balkans
🔥🔥🔥
Osmannica !
Haha great idea
The best music
I have a question to Wax Audio; I'm looking for some of your previous mashups, ones that featured Missy Elliott with Eye of The Tiger and an awesome Pinocchio remix. I had them downloaded but moving to different phones I've lost them. Do you have a link to help me find thkse tracks again? They were sick AF!

This is basically a System of a Down song
I really liked your metallica goes Punjab. While Istanbul, Turkey is a different culture than India, gotta say it feels like you were trying to make a sequel to the Punjab one. Which is cool and all, but feels like you've already done it, and are trying to replicate one of your more favorite tracks. What's funny is Metallica did the same thing with one of their tracks called “Unforgiven II”, and it just wasn't as good or big a hit as Unforgiven. This is usually a sign to me that an artist is running out of fresh ideas when they're trying to reproduce earlier works. The reason I love your channel is because your stuff is so fresh and your ideas for genre splicing was unique to you and you kept pushing the bounds of what kinds of music could fit together in a logical way, so much so that it inspired a new generation of mashup artists online which I didn't really see exist before I saw your work coming out. What I mean by all this is that you're a revolutionary mash up artist, and this track doesn't seems to hold the panache you have previously shown for introducing something completely new and fresh to the human experience. It's a pretty good track overall, but kind of underwhelming compared to your previous stuff. Nothing wrong with that. Still love your stuff. Just offering constructive criticism if you will. Take it as you like. Peace & ❤️
Thank you George. You hold me to a very high standard, which I'll consider a complement. I actually made this mashup back in 2007. It happened that I was in Istanbul and was walking along the Bosphorus and heard this music blaring from a huge PA next to a street vendor who was selling CDs. I stopped and bought one immediately. I had no idea who the artist was, I just loved the sound. I love the use of dark/minor scales used in Turkish pop music. It actually reminds me a lot of metal music. I knew then and there that I would make a mashup out if it and this is what iI ended up coming up with. I would agree, it's probably not quite as cool as Metallica Goes to Punjab (that is a personal favourite of mine) but it's still worth adding to my collection here on UA-cam. I would also agree that Metallica were fresh out of ideas (at least the ones that appealed to me) by the time they released unforgiven II. Thanks for the feedback!
Neyin peşindesin sen?😂😂😂
Please try again later.
No.
Yes.
Oh alright, no.
You mean Constantinople, Istanbul doesn't exist.
Pretty sure it was there the last three times I visited.
Maybe if you lived before the Ottoman Empire existed, Georg the Great
@Алиф Даль Мим Israel is cursed ground.
You can’t go back to Constantinopol.
wow ! someone living in a parallel universe
Terrible!
sorry, but that was terrible...
Worked well from 3:25
Very painful to listen to...
Seriously...
2/10 mashing a popular genre with obscure niche Hindi was a poor choice. Once listen to confirm I hate it, never again.
Turkish, not Hindi...
Dude, what? You just missed the target by half a globe. Turkish, not Hindi.
@@Isnogood12 Wow, Much different, very change.
