  • Riden RK6006BT DC Power Supply powered by Parkside X20V battery. I used 3d models from this site cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/... but I changed it a bit because I use inserts for screws and not nuts.

    Nice. I made one with WZ3605E module, and I modified the back of the enclosure . This module has a cooling fan a bit larger. I cut the original grid and made a new one. It is a very handy little thing.

    I bought two xy6020l and two 60V 10A PSU. I hope that I will make a metal case for this with my CNC during the weekend.

    I was just thinking how ugly that battery looked when you plugged the power supply on and made it look great !

      No, Bamboo CF PLA filament rulez :-) If you mean the front side, that's because of the texture on the PEI sheet

    Be carefull, the X20 Parkside battery pack has no undervoltage protection! You can deep-discharge with a load like this. Once the pack goes under 15 Volts, it may loose a cell......

    • @patomahony9747

      100% but I believe the Aldi battery brand ferex does have a BMS with protection

    • @zaltdrob
      @zaltdrob Місяць тому

      @@patomahony9747 Sure they have a BMS with all kind of protection but undervoltage. The tool (eg power drill) itself shuts down if the pack goes under a certain voltage. I already killed a battery because I used it for something else than it was itended for, and I deepdischarged it. I had to reverse engineer the battery pack...

      @@zaltdrob I have used parkside 20v batteries to see how long they would run led strobe lights before shutting down.
      Usually they shut down at 10v.
      The led lights are capable of running down to iirc 8v
      Not had any issues with the battery packs failing to charge or loosing longevity

    • @zaltdrob
      @zaltdrob Місяць тому

      @@patomahony9747 10 Volt for the pack means 2V for each cell. That's sketchy :(. The point is that theese batteries are designed for paskside tools, not for DIY. Unfortunatelly.

      Lookup a video of: ercan everything.
      He made a video to make it undervoltage proof

      Radi od 0-60V, uglavnom za maksimalni napon od 60V moraš imati preko 60V na ulazu, izračunaš po formuli (input voltage÷1.1)-1 znači za 60V max ti treba 67V na ulazu.

      You need to buy a 3d printer 😀.
      And make a Ryobi battery adapter and glue the source on it.
