Bro calls his comment section cry babies and said he ain't complaining lmao Then he talks like rhyme doesn't follow rules and abuses them, meanwhile he's got a life history of breaking his own rules with deion and IN THIS VIDEO abuses the very own rules to make the video boring.
I think we should modify the rule that you have to win with the boss monster on the field. I think it should be changed to you can’t win until after you’ve summoned the boss monster. Sam’s stalling dried up the fun of the duel. ESPECIALLY Since He Could’ve played the boss monster 10 turns before he finally played it!
Agreed, i know Sam has a point with strategy but goddamn was this a boring one... Especially since how funny these two are frfr. I hope this rule gets modified aswell
This is the way. Having to have it out for the final attack is too much. This idea is a good middle ground. I came to comment exactly this, but someone already beat me to it.
Yeah, that would be a good compromise. I agree, that part of the video did drag a bit. The payoff was pretty funny though. Honestly, it got funny as soon as I realized what he was doing lol
37:02 My favorite part about Sam vs the Three Idiots is that , Sam will never expect garbage cards that nobody plays because Seereax would play them because he's Smart , Doto would play them because he doesn't know better , and Rhyme would play them because he thinks it'd be funny.
I think the rule should be a little less stringent, and just be you have to summon your boss monster once during the duel before winning rather than having to be on the field
35:29 I’m gonna try and interpret what Rhyme is trying to say…the problem is that you need to win with your boss monster out but if you lose it then you need to get another one out, but not every single deck can consistently able to get their boss monster out as much as others…your deck Sam needs Red Eyes Darkness to be on the field to win…you need to get red eyes black on the field to do so…Rhyme’s boss has less conditions than yours, but it can’t be summoned in the many ways that your deck can summon Red Eyes…we can even compare Ocean Lord and Red Eyes Darkness that have similar summoning conditions. The way they get their other boss monsters on the field are different too, (Red-Eyes with two tributes or through SS with the Chick) (Daedalus with two tributes, one tribute if you Legendary Ocean or Silent Angler or SS by a spell) 9 times out of 10 you are going to summon Daedalus through a tribute, while Red Eyes has the Chick or another spell to summon (what’s more is that you have Masked Dragon, that can summon the Chick whenever you get the chance)…the consistency in each deck is different and the ‘challenge’ isn’t going to be possible for certain decks every single duel…just make it so that you need to summon and win with your boss on field once in order to win the MATCH (not every duel). Which means you need to meet the condition one time in the match before you claim the match (you still do the full 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 5) Another reason this rule doesn’t work is because of how you exploited the rule. Making it so that the opponent can’t even win unless they get their big boss monster out defeats the purpose of the rule being there, winning through some level of skill. All you did was just wait for the others cards you wanted (which wasn’t even your boss monster, you already had it in your hand) and you were only able to win off of the rule and not actual skill…you are not beating the cheating allegations Sam😂😂😂
holy im glad people point out what sam is constantly doing something just to get an edge, i only watch videos where he is having a collab and even in these hes almost unbearable *who plays that card" like bro say it once or twice n move on, and stop cheating in every collab to get get an advantage, yes its for enterainment purpose but my god its getting out of hand. Thanks again for pointing it out !
The boss monster rule completely skewed it in Sam’s favor. His boss gets stronger for every dragon in your graveyard. Since both had to stall, red eyes became an unstoppable beast. Gilford has no similar drag out benefits.
@@kozaky6584 calm down there buddy, sam is a really nice guy that put a ton of people on and he makes high quality yugioh content, no need to be disrespectful
Ugh. Boring honestly. If the boss hits the field at any point, then gets outed, that would be a much better rule. Watching someone stall for 20+ turns then use ceasefire to end the duel. Eww. Not a bad play, but the rules need to be updated for this to actually be interesting.
Make it like duelist kingdom rules where you need a monster on your field or to have Summoned that turn and if you end your turn without summoning or having a monster on field you lose the duel. This could be changed to 2 turns for this though.
Not gonna lie this was kind of hard to watch.. not summoning and taking advantage of the weird rules to not lose is kinda boring. You had the option to summon red eyes and just didn’t cause you took advantage the rules. I love your content but I think you need to change it up for next time. What’s the point in using the classic decks if you’re not really using it to win.. I would much rather see you guys play the decks with the exact amount of cards it came with and maybe modify some.
My issue with the "boss monster needs to be on the battlefield or you lose" is that Sam could've just won by attacked obnoxious guard and took himself out.
I found it entertaining but the stalling and bricking with zero luck getting your boss card or other cards to help bring it to the field do take the fun out of it. I think a nice modification for these win condition rules is that you can win via your boss monster being on the field (doesn't have to deal the killing blow), OR via a special/unique condition that is unique to each deck and this special condition is fitting the theme of the deck. For example the warriors deck has a lot of equip spells, so their special condition is they need to play 2-3 equip spells on the field to win as an alternative win condition to the boss monster being on the field. Fire themed deck would have a condition like do "X" amount of burn damage (even if it doesn't kill but it met the "X" amount then you can proceed to play normally for the win). And so on and so forth. I think something like that would freshen this series much better and it'll be more entertaining than stalling with one win condition and it gives you the chance to still win even if your boss monster has been destroyed already (trap holes, lighting vortex etc).
Please no... I'm still sick to my stomach from watching Doto try to play a Red-Eyes deck. I never thought I was a sweaty player until I watched that man disrespect that already struggling archetype. My favourite of the three idiots, but that video will always haunt me.

If you don't mind it being somewhat asymmetric, maybe alongside just having the boss monster be summoned once in the duel at all to push for win, each structure deck could have a flavor victory clear condition. One for each deck that would REASONABLY happen in a typical game. Like 5 spell counters earned for Spellcasters, 2500 burn damage for Fire, and so on. Not intended as a long goal, just a small hurdle to clear for the win while still in theme for each deck.
Sam i agree with rhyme, the rules should the final blow is with your boss monster because summoning the monster just to say you summon it is stupid and boring. You waited 40 turns just to summon red eyes darkness dragon, JUST to kill him with burn damage of all things, and if you lose the ability to summon your boss monster at all, you just lose
rhyme... should have taken maruading captain ALWAYS with rota when you have other normal summons available. could have DD warrior lady effected luster dragon then hit directly. still would have lost both monsters, but you would have the ability to keep tempo instead of just losing a monster straight up and giving sam an additional summon
Sam rule sharking the boss monster win clause and going on to misplay later bc he didn't read his card has to be the most yugioh player thing of all time.
I think it should be best of 3 but you have to win once with your boss monster. Meaning if Sam wins the first match with his boss monster, that frees him up to play normally or if he wins regularly the first match he must win the next match with his boss monster.
Well, if your last copy of your boss monster is summoned the opponent can't remove it from the field. In that way, the win condition stays for both players until one of them is able to win the game. The problem with this is that it can become difficult or impossible to summon a second or third copy in a grind game because you might lack the cards needed to summon it. So, I suggest to not attempt removing the boss monster once it is summoned unless a player summons two of them (remove one of them instead). The opponent must avoid getting defeated by it (the boss monster must deliver the killing blow) until is able to summon it's own to do the same.
not sure how yal playing it, but i've seen this kind of duel before and it was you had to win with your boss monster, the boss had to give the final attack that's kind of the point of a boss monster challenge
They should consider editing the rules to be similar to Deck Master format, since they're putting so much emphasis on the importance of the boss monster
sam really earn the title "Cheater" for both in the game and in life mainly with girls or guys depends on what he likes, and the rules does need to be change
In all honestly you should just build decks around the boss monsters to make this “rule” more consistent. This was a pretty boring challenge in all honesty.
That has got to be the most boring bullshit I have ever seen. Game on board for like, twenty minutes, but nah, you can't win because I said so Rhyme would've won every game
ok might be a crazy take or is it just me or am I the only one tired of seeing these yugi tubers only play with old school decks for vid ideas like dm and gx was fun damn that is run down can we start switching to more 5ds zexal vid ideas
Of course Sam would come up with the most arbitrary and idiotic rules to increase his chances of winning by forcibly stalling out 60 turn duels due to a specific and unrealistic win con being the only legal way to win. Nah, Rhyme won these duels. Sam had absolutely no feasible way to win any of them. Realistically, this would have been a 10-15 minute video of Sam getting washed. Good to know even Rhyme thinks Sam's ideas are really stupid.
That second duel made me question Sam's duel ability. My man should be filling that graveyard with dragons to one-shot Rhyme with Red-Eyes Darkness + Dragon's Rage way sooner

I find it funny how Rhyme would have ultimately won if not for that rule. Also, the irony of who's calling who a sore loser 😂
Sam winning with ceasefire was gross
Best part about Sam’s videos is the black and white screen whenever his guest starts roasting him
Rule to land killing blow with Boss Monster is worst rule ever and it ruins whole fun of game. Please remove that.
Sam: this is based entirely on skill.
Also Sam: you’re so lucky bro!
37:16 "no one plays that" bro this is early yugioh, everyone plays everything 🤣
Each duelist should get revival cards in this format for free like monster reborn, haunted, monster reborn, etc
Don't make sense what Sam is said about the condition of winning,
not sure how yal playing it, but i've seen this kind of duel before and it was you had to win with your boss monster, the boss had to give the final attack that's kind of the point of a boss monster challenge
I was just thinking that this channel needed more Rhymestyle
Honestly this challenge sucks. They spent way to long just pass turn Sam clearly lost and it was just not fun
I like the idea of the challenge. It does make you plot to commit your plays in a slower way. It looked like a lot of fun.
Sam making rules up to make his videos longer
They should consider editing the rules to be similar to Deck Master format, since they're putting so much emphasis on the importance of the boss monster
Sam still hasn't learned from Seereax, that stalling isn't something the viewers enjoy
Already just know Sam is going to cheat somehow.
Nah he's just gonna stall for 30 turns waiting for rhyme to draw his boss instead of just winning
@@SliferStreamingimagine being so bad at the game, that you need a special rule to win 😂😂😂
@@truesdale7388that's our sam
sam really earn the title "Cheater" for both in the game and in life mainly with girls or guys depends on what he likes, and the rules does need to be change
33:53 rhyme's deck name 😂😂😂
41:33 WHAT WAS THAT VOICE RHYME ? 🤣
MORE OF IT LMAO
I feel like the boss requirement is not needed. It's about which deck is better not which boss is.
In all honestly you should just build decks around the boss monsters to make this “rule” more consistent. This was a pretty boring challenge in all honesty.
Another rule: If all 3 copies of your boss monster are banished or in your GY, you lose the duel.
that was the cheapest win LMAO
I LOVE the fact Rhyme was wearing a Joey shirt
That has got to be the most boring bullshit I have ever seen. Game on board for like, twenty minutes, but nah, you can't win because I said so
Rhyme would've won every game
This is literally best version when yu-gi and the gang were turned into their monsters 🤙🏽💯
3 copies of monster engines dont work with old school yu gi oh deck building🤣. Sam only knows new school deck building
ok might be a crazy take or is it just me or am I the only one tired of seeing these yugi tubers only play with old school decks for vid ideas like dm and gx was fun damn that is run down can we start switching to more 5ds zexal vid ideas
The way rhyme feels rn is the same feeling seereax has dueling with his constructed decks on his channel
The machine deck combined with Cyber Dragons was my main back in the day.
Absolutely amazing this format !!!! 100% nostalgia
I definitely like this challenge because it's not someone getting instantly killed by the better deck
There's a difference between friends talking s*** and non friends.Disrespectand you guys do a great job of entertaining
I meant to say disrespect and respect comes from the friand and if it's not friendly then it's disrespect
That second duel made me question Sam's duel ability. My man should be filling that graveyard with dragons to one-shot Rhyme with Red-Eyes Darkness + Dragon's Rage way sooner
Sam Cooking Rhyme for being 30 is crazy knowing he’s nearing 27 💀 yall gone be in the same retirement home dueling big dawg
LMFAOOOOO
