Amazing work Ghazi! I’m so proud of you! You nailed it all! Fantastic work! My grandfather (still alive) not exactly absolutely blood related, was a pilot in Biman since its conception. He flew Fokker F-27s, Boeing 707s and Douglas DC-10-30s. He was the chairman of Bangladesh Flying Club, he carried P.M. Sheikh Hasina and many other V.I.P.s during his career. He flew to London, Brussels, Tokyo Narita and probably JFK too. His two sons now continue his legacy, now, both flying the Boeing 777-300ER and might fly the B787 Dream)Liners in the future. :) Edit: And for your information, Biman’s leased Q400 ‘S2-AGR’ from Smart Aviation Egypt (now owned) actually has a dedicated nickname. Biman's jet fleet is pretty good now. 737-800 might need to be replaced by 737-8, 787-8 and -9 and very modern, 777-300ER is also a very new plane which airlines worldwide are still taking deliveries of.
An amazing and fabulous work, indeed. Little touch up might be a good idea if you concentrate on the model numbers and years, quite difficult to see. Then again, a real piece of work, man!
Excellent video. I’ve seen almost all of these flying by my own eyes starting from the Focker 27. Biman nailed many legendary birds like the 707s, DC-10s and even the queen 747s. We should be very proud indeed. Thanks to RBA for creating such a masterpiece. Only one thing- white letters in grey background were difficult to read.
This is undoubtedly an excellent video regarding our Nations aircraft. Which one was the last douglas DC-10? I still remember the first time I went to Rome back in 2014’s November it was douglas DC-10 of Biman ❤️ and just after one month, in December 7, Dc 10 conduct its last flight.

Will just add unnecessary complexity to the fleet. The 777-300ER already does what the A350-1000 would. Biman ordering the 787-10 instead of A350-900 to fill the gap between 787-9 and 777W would make the most financial sense.
A350 is not financially beneficial cos A350 needa more fuel to operate.As though A350 has ability to go long range more than Dreamliner but Bangladesh will not provide any direct flight to the long range like USA, Canada. So we have no needs Airbus A350. But B787-10 can be the best option for Biamn to make balance B777-300ER & B787-9. But Bangladesh needs more B737-800 or B737-Max or A320 neo or A321 neo....i mean 150 to 170 seats airplane & another needed 220 to 250 seats airplane & it can be B787-8 or A330-200 & Biman needs mainly focus to the African countries & Asian countries like Nepal,Bhutan,Maldives,Shecilles,Madagaskar,Sri-Lanka,Mayanmar,Kolkata because from thus place have not direct flight to the Europe & Middle East & Passific ocean & USA, Canada,Japan, Australia.But Bangladesh trying to operate direct flight to the mentioned countries.
@@missionusa the 787 can go pretty much anywhere. Pretty sure it can go from Dhaka to North America too. The 787-9 and A350-900 pretty much have the same range.

The B78X is surely good for high-density mid-long range routes but, how does it feel being an airline buying all the variants of an aircraft type? Sure, the B78X certainly looks more beautiful as it is the longest, and Biman’s livery suits longer aircraft much better, but, other than that, from the pure range, efficiency and passenger carrying perspective, the B789 is the perfect aircraft for Biman. Of-course, I do not suggest that they go for any Airbus aircraft, since it completely doesn’t make any sense now, but, I think Biman already has enough passenger aircraft in their fleet and many of them are underutilized. So, I would suggest that they go for purchasing freighter aircraft like the B77L now in order to start a new path and earn lots of profits, I hope you understood my points. Thank you. :)

Would complement the fleet nicely and also wouldn't cost a lot to add since it is at the end of the day a 787. The 787-10 is also the most efficient plane for medium haul routes currently. Yes, the range might not be insanely high but it'll be good enough for most routes. Eva Air for example flies from Taiwan to Amsterdam with the 787-10. Yes, I feel like the passenger fleet of Biman is more than enough for now too. But just in case they want to add some wide bodies I feel like the 787-10 would be a perfect fit in their fleet.
Recently I Went To Cox's Baxar Directly From Sylhet And We Saw A 787 Dreamliner Taking Off But I Didn’t Know Exactly What Was The Name. Does Biman Have Only One Akashbeena? Cuz While Returning We Went To Dhaka And We Saw The Akashbeena It Was Right Beside Us.
@@RoyalBengalAviation That’s the tricky part. Different sources represent different stories. I am sure that 2 F-27s joined before the DC-6 replaced by the DC-6B. Then 707 and other F-27s joined. @@homosapiens_00 so how come an aircraft like AN-225 landed at DAC? It is even bigger than A380. The reason what I understand is operating any flight with A380 from DAC will never become financially feasible for the operators. A380s are being mostly operated from the hubs like DXB and such and only being operated in the routes of the world's most important cities. In any sense Dhaka isn't considered as a major city of the world! Another problem of DAC is that there's no proper boarding gate which are needed for A380.
It’s not feasible for airlines to operate an A380 to Dhaka. Not to mention its high operating costs and Bangladesh doesn’t have the gates to accommodate the 380. Overall it would be a loss for airlines.

@@homosapiens_00 so how come an aircraft like AN-225 landed at DAC? It is even bigger than A380. The reason what I understand is operating any flight with A380 from DAC will never become financially feasible for the operators. A380s are being mostly operated from the hubs like DXB and such and only being operated in the routes of the world's most important cities. In any sense Dhaka isn't considered as a major city of the world! Another problem of DAC is that there's no proper boarding gate which are needed for A380.
It’s not feasible for airlines to operate an A380 to Dhaka. Not to mention its high operating costs and Bangladesh doesn’t have the gates to accommodate the 380. Overall it would be a loss for airlines.
Its true that A380 never came to DAC.But I think they will be come to DAC future.
