When Xianyun was comforting the traveler, I just had felt the same feeling I've had when my mother comforted me when I was down. I couldn't help but cry more when she comforted the traveler when I was alr tearing up when the traveler got to see her twin again in her dreams. Xianyun is definitely well suited to be a mother like my own, her character story is by far one the the best character stories I have ever seen. Pls, all of you, cherish your mom and dad, they are your number one roll models. Your elders are the most wisest people that can help you live your life to the fullest. Props to you Genshin Devs

This quest made me feel so many different emotions, I felt sad, happy, and just depressed lol. I now understand cloud retainer more which makes me want to pull her even more :,) ( the scene with Lumine and Aether also had me on the verge of tears.)

Bro, idk if yall noticed but now it’s confirmed that Aether and Lumine was already in teyvat before they left and sent back by unknown goddess Lumine (abyss princess) in this matter had their full power while Aether didn’t had power his outfit didn’t glow

The timeline of events is this: Aether and Lumine arrive in Teyvat. Abyss Twin wakes up first and explores Teyvat(with Dain) and then when the Traveller wakes up the Abyss Twin wishes to leave(iirc due to the Cataclysm), they both attempt to leave. The Abyss Twin gets sealed first and regains their power and sides with the abyss, 500~ years later Traveller wakes up again and then meets Paimon and then starts their Journey to find their Twin which then switches to find out information about the Abyss Twin and why they became so jaded.
That's how I understand it at least.
Also I find it kind of amusing how Cloud Retainer refers to herself as the elder when talking to the Traveller when the Twins are far older than her. By a long shot, having seen stars be born and die making them at least 10-20 billion years old as that's the average lifespan of a star.

This is just a dream tho. The Traveler has said before that when they reunite with their twin, they want to show them Teyvat and explore with them. Like how Paimon said “next year we’ll celebrate lantern rite together.”
This isn’t snapshots of them before they tried to leave Teyvat, this is what Traveler wishes to do with their twin instead of searching for them.

@@MythrasCrushalso this is not true lmao if it is then I wanna read ur source. One of Genshin’s core assets is its Gacha system, which appeals to people with jobs and their own bank accounts. Sure you’ll have a lot of tweens and teens playing as well, but they’re not the complete majority.
And if Traveler is meant to reflect the player, then it’s self-centered to say that they’ll always be 13-18. Why is a 30 year old’s Traveler less valid than your 15 year old Traveler? Not everyone who plays the game is your age.
