This is definitely one of the better Games Animation-era episodes. Stimpy acting like a mad scientist is always fun to watch.
Season 3 was the peak of the Games episodes. After that, the show went downhill.

1:13 “WHERE’S MY DADGUM DINNER!? Don’t you know it’s already twelve o’clock!?”
“REN! Be careful with that!”
@@TAS123hahaha Oh, you want I should be careful with this stuff, huh? Well, what if I did... THIS?! HA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@grahamjoubert7833 “AAAAAGH!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!”
Honestly, I was expecting Ren's Evil Side and his REALLY Evil Side.
Agreed. Missed opportunity.
That's later in the episode, as I recall.
Evil Ren spits himself towards the end of the episode. I won't spoil the twist.
As a single cell organism, I can confirm this is what mitosis is like.
I keep forgetting this was an early 90s cartoon, looking like a 1950s cartoon.
i've read an article once where it said that retro-style was one of the creators' main ideas
Yeah, Ren and Stimpy (the Games-era especially) kinda gives late 50's Chuck Jones directed Looney Tunes vibe.
It was based on 1950s lifestyle.
In the 50s this kind of Cartoon was unthinkable
I think this was a deconstruction of 1950s cartoons
Ren: Aah, who ca---- 😆😆😆
I love whenever Stimpy plays Mad Scientist in an episode.
Agreed! That's probably a big factor why "Ren's Bitter Half" and "Ren's Brain" were two of the better Games Animation-era episodes.
@@ZakWolf PS: great profile pic!
Voice acting is nailing it!

The use of classical music makes these excellent animal documentaries even more enjoyable

2:16 that's some Cronenberg level stuff right there

I saw The Substance the other day, and I couldn't help but be reminded of this episode.
This episode man was funny😂
I miss these guys😭😭😭
Reboot is in the works
A very nice episode!
I always like the absurd episodes (but not too gross)
Game animations did a way better job then Spumco ever did
That's because Bob Camp is leader that can accept compromises. John K cannot.
based
Spumco episodes look way better tho tbf
@@Derpyyy777 The problem is John K took forever to make episodes, and Nick fired him for not meeting deadlines.
@@orangeslash1667 well yeah true, but in return the episodes aged really well quality wise (I’m talking about the Carbunkle episodes)
This is one of the few episodes I really liked. Put up the entire thing!
Finally, kid related shows on comedy central
I didn’t think Ren could get more evil, yet here we are!
Hey look! He’s bringing the tv closer! *dies*
cant be the only one who saw it
1:48 The Substance (2024)
0:48 STREWTH!!!
Just like my sister, but split
2:27 soundtrack?
1945 Adagio Funebre by Gerhard Trede
Ren & Stimpy, the only watchable cartoon along with Beavis & Butthead from 90’s. Oh and Simpsons back in the day, now that’s just… no.
obviously you dont watch a lot of 90s cartoons, most of em hold up better now than cartoons made just 5 years ago
MTV Downtown, Daria, Duckman, Hey Arnold, Ren and Stimpy, Batman TAS, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Disney Doug, X-Men, Spiderman, Invader Zim, and then anime like Sailor Moon, Neon Genesis, Ghost In the Shell... I guess it's all subjective though.
