      @@TheEpsomBakehouse I just started back baking - my 5th grade teacher taught me how to make a classic wheat and I made it a lot when I was younger but haven’t in yearssss, in rusty😄
      Lately ive been making the simple artisan no knead recipe, loving it! Been making it weekly but want some variety in the flavor. Not ready for the more time consuming recipes yet. But I LOVE sourdough & want to try that soon.

    I like pecans, raisins, cranberries and chocolate.
    I guess the most successful add-ins are raisins and cinnamon, you can usually get raisin bread from any grocery.

      Thanks for watching! Not sure about in the bread itself but definitely in festive breads to pre-soak the dried fruit 😀.

    Thanks for sharing your tips. Well I think I would like to add variety of spices indian use this in their cuisines individually or in group like curry pd.

    Hi I thinking of putting a spicy paste etc like curry with coconut milk but which stage should I add on .. n how much to add on for a 390g flour .. thanks

    • @TheEpsomBakehouse
      @TheEpsomBakehouse 3 роки тому

      Sounds delicious! You could add from the beginning into the dough (though be aware some spices can slow down the yeast) or - if the paste can be eaten by itself - roll it into the dough after rising and before baking, as a filling, perhaps with some butter. Enjoy!

      Do you mean a bread made with milk replacing some or all of the water or other liquid in the dough? That would likely be the only change I'd made - you could also add some butter to the dough whilst kneading it too.

      I've not tried that but sounds delicious! You could try from the beginning and work it into the dough. Or as a filling for buns/rolls and added before baking (if the paste can be eaten by itself).
