As an American, I've never heard of Australian Idol. It isn't advertised or talked about AT ALL. BUT, I have to say that was the best rendition of the Whitney-Mariah version or "When You Believe" I have ever heard. Not one mistake!! I wish we knew her here in the US. Very very talented.

She's half indonesian descenct. Her father come from a small city in west of Timor Island that called Soe , the capital city of Timor Tengah Selatan (TTS), and her mother come from Darwin Australia..

Gosh she's awesome. Why didn't she win? The Australian people voting are insane! Its not just about who needs deserves this more and needs it more to succeed. For last year I was ok with either Hayley or Stan winning so I was happy that Australian Idol stepped up the plate.

Back on the first season of Australian Idol it was still new and people often voted for who really is the best regardless of who needs it more. Nowadays its different.
